Oxana Mykolayivna Tsyhuleva ( uk, Оксана Миколаївна Цигульова; born 15 December 1973) is a Ukrainian trampolinist who won a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Career Tsyhuleva competed at her first World Championships in 1996 in Vancouver. She won the gold medal in the synchro competition with Olena Movchan and Ukraine won the team silver medal behind Russia. At the 1998 World Championships in Sydney, she won the silver medal in the individual event behind Russia's Irina Karavayeva. Ukraine won the team bronze medal behind Russia and Belarus. She also won the silver medal in the synchro competition with Olena Movchan behind German trampolinists Tina Ludwig and Anna Dogonadze. Anna Dogonadze
Anna Dogonadze ( ka, ანა დოღონაძე; born February 15, 1973) is a German trampoline gymnast of Georgian origin who won a gold medal in the event of trampolining at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She was born on 15 February 1973 in Mtskheta, Georgian SSR, (present day Georgia). Prior to Georgian independence, she competed for the Soviet Union, and afterwards represented Georgia in international competition. Dogonadze became a German citizen after marrying a German national. They live in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, with their daughter Mariam. By profession, Dogonadze is a teacher. Dogonadze's career highlight was her Olympic win in 2004, which followed a disastrous final in the Sydney Olympics four years earlier. Irina Vladimirovna Karavayeva (born 18 May 1975 in Krasnodar) is a Russian trampoline gymnast, competing at an international level since 1990. Career Originally beginning her sports career as a tumbler, Karavayeva soon switched to trampolining and excelled. She competed in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games, becoming the first female olympic champion in this discipline She is a three-time European Champion, 3 time World Champion and 2000 Olympic Champion. Trampolining or trampoline gymnastics is a competitive Olympic sport in which athletes perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. In competition, these can include simple jumps in the straight, pike, tuck, or straddle position to more complex combinations of forward and/or backward somersaults and twists. 2001 Goodwill Games
The 2001 Goodwill Games was the fifth and final edition of the international multi-sport event. The competition was held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia from 29 August to 9 September 2001. A total around 1300 athletes took part in 14 sporting competitions. The small scale opening ceremony was held at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall and featured The Corrs and Keith Urban.
