Oxana Savchenko (russian: Оксана Владимировна Савченко; born October 10, 1990, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy) is a Paralympic swimming, paralympic swimmer from Russia competing mainly in S12 (classification), category S12 events, for visually impaired competitors. Oxana was one of the stars of the Russian team at the 2008 Summer Paralympics as she won gold in all three of her events; she won gold in the individual medley and set new world records in winning both the and freestyle events. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky ( rus, Петропавловск-Камчатский, a=Петропавловск-Камчатский.ogg, p=pʲɪtrɐˈpavləfsk kɐmˈtɕatskʲɪj) is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, city and the administrative center, administrative, industrial, scientific, and cultural center of Kamchatka Krai, Russia.
