Ovo Je Balkan
Serbia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Ovo je Balkan" written by Goran Bregović, Marina Tucaković and Ljiljana Jorgovanović. The song was performed by Milan Stanković. The Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) organised the national final ''Tri pa jedan za Oslo'' in order to select the Serbian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. Goran Bregović was selected to compose three songs for the national final on 13 March 2010, which resulted in "Ovo je Balkan" performed by Milan Stanković as the winner entirely by a public televote. Serbia was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 25 May 2010. Milan Stanković
Milan Stanković ( sr-cyrl, Милан Станковић; born 9 September 1987) is a Serbian singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence as a finalist on the televised singing competition ''Zvezde Granda'' in 2007, and acquired wider fame by representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway with "Ovo je Balkan", where he finished in 13th place. Additionally, he served as a judge on the children's singing competition ''Pinkove Zvezdice'' (2014-2018). Early life Milan Stanković was born on September 9, 1987 in Obrenovac, SFR Yugoslavia and was raised by a single mother. According to Stanković, his father, who was arrested for homicide when Milan was five months old, died after five years in prison under unexplained circumstances. Negative (Serbian Band)
Negative ( sr, Негатив, Negativ) is a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1999. Fronted by vocalist Ivana Peters (née Pavlović), the band enjoyed large popularity and was one of the most notable acts of the Serbian rock scene during the 2000s. History 1999-2015 Negative was formed in the spring of 1999, during the NATO bombing of FR Yugoslavia, by Ivana Pavlović (vocals), Nikola Radaković (guitar), Vladimir "Grle" Đurđević (guitar), Milen Zlatanović (bass guitar) and Miloš Bilanović (drums). Serbia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Oro" written by Željko Joksimović and Dejan Ivanović. The song was performed by Jelena Tomašević featuring Bora Dugić. In addition to participating in the contest, the Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest after winning the competition in 2007 with the song "Molitva" performed by Marija Šerifović. RTS organised the national final ''Beovizija 2008'' in order to select the Serbian entry for the 2008 contest in Belgrade. The national final consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final on 9 and 10 March 2008, respectively. Jelena Tomašević ( sr-cyr, Јелена Томашевић, ; born November 1, 1983) is a Serbian pop singer of international career famed for her strong vocal performances. The Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the 52nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Helsinki, Finland, following the country's victory at the with the song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi. Severina Vučković (born 21 April 1972), better known mononymously as Severina, is a Croatian singer-songwriter and actress. In 2006, the Croatian weekly '' Nacional'' listed her among the 100 most influential Croats, calling her "the only ''bona fide'' Croatian celebrity". Košutnjak ( sr-cyr, Кошутњак, ) is a park-forest and urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is divided between in the municipalities of Čukarica (upper and central parts) and Rakovica (lower part). With the adjoining Topčider, it is colloquially styled "Belgrade's oxygen factory".
