Ovidijus Galdikas
Ovidijus Galdikas (born 4 September 1988) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player. Career Galdikas spent 2006-07 training with the Žalgiris-Arvydas Sabonis school but, after suffering a broken arm, he stopped playing basketball at the behest of his mother and spent the next two years working various menial jobs to support his family. In around 2009, basketball agent Šarūnas Broga (his current agent) and Klemensas Patiejūnas (a Lithuanian basketball player who was playing in France at that time) started hearing stories of a 7 footer in Kaunas who wasn't playing basketball anywhere. Having found Galdikas, they realised that he wasn't yet ready for professional basketball and started working with him. Klemensas took him to France and, upon his return, Galdikas joined Vilnius KM-Magnus (a third-tier club) during the 2009–10 season, where he averaged 21.2 points, 10.9 rebounds. Asseco Gdynia
Arka Gdynia is a Polish professional basketball team, based in Gdynia. The team plays in the Polish PLK. The club's sponsorship name comes from the company Asseco. Historically the team is one of the most successful in Poland, mainly because of the nine championships in a row the team won from 2004 to 2012. History The team was founded in 1995, as STK Trefl Sopot. In its first season, the team won the Polish third division and promotion to the Polish second division. In the 1996–97 season, after winning Group B of the Polish second division, the team was promoted to the top Polish Basketball League, the Dominet Bank Ekstraliga. Donatas Motiejūnas (; born September 20, 1990) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for AS Monaco Basket of LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. He was drafted 20th overall in the 2011 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves before going on to win the 2012 Polish Basketball League championship with Asseco Prokom Gdynia. After spending four seasons with the Houston Rockets from 2012 to 2016, Motiejūnas joined the New Orleans Pelicans in January 2017.
