''Overload'' is a 2005 album by the Canadian hard rock band Harem Scarem. It is the tenth Harem Scarem studio album. The Japanese version contains the song "You Shook Me All Night Long" ( AC/DC cover) as a bonus track, while the European CD comes with "Wishing" which was previously released on the Japanese version of '' Higher''. Harem Scarem is a Canadian hard rock/melodic hard rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Harem Scarem initially (the early 1990s) achieved popularity in their native Canada and Japan. The band was active from 1987 to 2008, and again from 2013 after reforming. Throughout their career, they have released 15 studio albums (including two releases as Rubber in Canada), plus numerous live and compilation albums, and a re-record of Mood Swings (as Mood Swings II) in 2013. Totals record sales are in excess of one million worldwide. North York
North York is one of the six administrative districts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Harry Hess (born July 5, 1968) is a Canadian record producer, singer and guitarist best known as the frontman for the Canadian hard rock band Harem Scarem. Pete Lesperance
Pete Lesperance is a Canadian guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer best known as the lead guitarist for the Canadian hard rock band Harem Scarem. Lesperance was born October 13, 1968, in Scarborough, Ontario. Lesperance was a guitarist in the Oshawa metal band Minotaur before forming Harem Scarem with Blind Vengeance vocalist Harry Hess in 1987. Lesperance's solo album, ''Down In It'', was released in 2004 in Japan only, where Harem Scarem had their main fanbase. With fellow guitarist Mike Turner (ex-Our Lady Peace), they put together the band Fair Ground. Together they released a new version of ''Down In It''. Lesperance's own studio, Hope Songs, is located in Toronto, Ontario. Lesperance has produced many bands, including the rock band One Short. "You Shook Me All Night Long" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, from the album ''Back in Black''. The song also reappeared on their later album ''Who Made Who''. It is AC/DC's first single with Brian Johnson as the lead singer, replacing Bon Scott who died of alcohol poisoning in February 1980. It reached number 35 on the USA's Hot 100 pop singles chart in 1980. The single was re-released internationally in 1986, following the release of the album ''Who Made Who''. Creighton Doane is a Canadian drummer and songwriter, best known as a longtime member of the rock band Harem Scarem. The son of music educator J. Chalmers Doane and the brother of singer-songwriter Melanie Doane, his first significant musical project was as the drummer in The October Game, a local Halifax band fronted by Sarah McLachlan.Michael Barclay, Ian A.D.
