Video was first developed for mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode-ray tube (CRT) systems which, in turn, were replaced by flat panel displays of several types. Video systems vary in display resolution, aspect ratio, refresh rate, color capabilities and other qualities. Analog and digital variants exist and can be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcast, magnetic tape, optical discs, computer files, and network streaming. History Analog video Video technology was first developed for mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode-ray tube (CRT) television systems, but several new technologies for video display devices have since been invented. Beaver (band)
Beaver, or 13eaver as it is better known, was a Dutch stoner rock band. All of their CDs are considered rare, and are all out of print. History Beaver appeared on the Amsterdam music scene in the late eighties. Founded by guitarist/lyricist Roel Schoenmakers and drummer Eva Nahon, their line-up stabilized in 1992 with the addition of bass player Milo Beenhakker and ex-God guitarist Joszja de Weerdt. They started playing out on the European stages, supporting bands like The Obsessed, Rollins Band, Melvins, Fugazi, Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age. The results of their first three recording sessions at the Via Ritmo studio in Rotterdam were released on CD by the local W.E.R.K./WORKS label in March 1996. 'B' (13eaver) contains one hour of their heavy rocking metascience-fictional blues. The next trip to the studio yielded the Josh Homme-produced "Green", the band's contribution to the genre-defining 'Burn One Up!' compilation that came out in January 1997. The Beaver rhythm s ...

Outtake
An outtake is a portion of a work (usually a film or music recording) that is removed in the editing process and not included in the work's final, publicly released version. In the digital era, significant outtakes have been appended to CD and DVD reissues of many albums and films as bonus tracks or features, in film often, but not always, for the sake of humor. In terms of photos, an outtake may also mean the ones which are not released in the original set of photos (i.e. photo shoots and digitals). Film An outtake is any take of a movie or a television program that is removed or otherwise not used in the final cut. Some of these takes are humorous mistakes made in the process of filming commonly known to American audiences as bloopers. Multiple takes of each shot are always taken, for safety. Due to this, the number of outtakes a film has will always vastly outnumber the takes included in the edited, finished product. An outtake may also be a complete version of a recording th ...

The Fun Machine Took A Shit & Died
"The Fun Machine Took a Shit & Died" is a song by Queens of the Stone Age, intended for the band's 2005 album, ''Lullabies to Paralyze.'' In 2005, a rough studio version of the song was handed out to those who had tickets to the cancelled London shows. In 2007, the song was given away for free with the release of the band's 2007 album '' Era Vulgaris'' to those who pre-ordered it. History The song was originally intended to be on the band's fourth studio album, ''Lullabies to Paralyze''. The tapes were assumed stolen but were, in fact, misplaced. In an interview with ''Rolling Stone'', singer Josh Homme said "The tapes got lost. Actually, they were just at another studio, but we falsely accused everyone in the world of theft." A rough studio version of the song was placed on a series of 7" vinyl records, handed out to those who had tickets to the cancelled London shows. The song was also performed by the band on their first live DVD, ''Over the Years and Through the Woods''. A ...

Feel Good Hit Of The Summer
"Feel Good Hit of the Summer" is a song by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age and written by band members Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri. It is the opening track of their second album, ''Rated R'', and the second single to be released from it. The song also accompanied the UK release of the album on a separate CD entitled '' Rated U''. Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford, at the time fronting his solo band, contributed backing vocals on the song. Upon the album's release, "Feel Good Hit of the Summer" had particular attention drawn to it due to the song's focus on drugs. Despite this, critical reception to the song was generally positive, with various critics considering it a highlight of the album. Background and writing Josh Homme claimed the song was conceived after his three-day Millennium party. The song's lyrics are merely a list of drugs repeated throughout. The drugs listed in the verses are nicotine, Valium, Vicodin, marijuana, ecstasy and alcohol, with cocaine ment ...
