King Of The Road (album)
''King of the Road'' is a studio album by the California stoner rock band Fu Manchu, released in 2000. Many of the songs are about cars and car culture. The Japanese and European releases contain the track "Breathing Fire" in place of "Drive". "Breathing Fire" was on the demo version of the record that was sent to radio stations, clubs, and fans. Production The album was produced by Joe Barresi at Monkey Studios. It was recorded live in the studio, where the band experimented with fuzz pedal tones. ''King of the Road'' contains a cover of Devo's "Freedom of Choice", which was praised by Mark Mothersbaugh. Critical reception ''The Austin Chronicle'' wrote: "''King of the Road'' is another rock & roll road trip back to the early days of the Carter administration, sounding like an album that could have been made in 1977 ... It's full of obscenely fat guitar licks à la Frehley, Blackmore, Iommi (and the most perfect AC/DC break you've ever heard in the middle of 'Over the Ed ...

Over The Edge (Zimbabwe)
Over the Edge (OTE) was a Zimbabwean theatre company that existed from 1994 to 2004. It was one of Zimbabwe's most prolific and successful independent theatre companies, known for imaginative re-inventions of Shakespeare and original African works. They had a long relationship with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and close links to Reps Theatre. Early history Over the Edge first performed on 29 October 1994 at the Avondale Summer Arts Festival in Harare. The members had been friends for years, many having been in Repteens, and were invited to perform some street theatre. This rough and ready performance was the beginning of a long and successful relationship. The group was praised for its talent and enthusiasm but it was especially noted for its racial diversity. Although racial diversity had been standard practise in Zimbabwean theatres and theatrical companies since the 1960s, the majority of performers were inevitably white. Over the Edge, on the other hand, had more or less ...

Over The Edge (radio Program)
''Over the Edge'' (or ''OTE'') is a sound collage radio program hosted and produced in the United States by Jon Leidecker ("Wobbly") and Robert Cole ("KrOB"), who took over in 2015 after the death of longtime host Don Joyce. Leidecker, like Joyce, is a member of the pioneering sound collage band Negativland, other members of which have frequently appeared on the show. A series of ''Over the Edge'' episodes have been released under the Negativland name, first on cassette and later CD. Critic Ned Raggett describes ''Over the Edge'' as "a merry trip into an alternate world," while critic Stephen Cramer describes ''Over the Edge'' as "the longest-running block of free-form radio in the history of radio ... essentially live performance art." Founded in 1981, ''OTE'' is broadcast live on KPFA in Berkeley, California, every second, third, and fourth Thursday night/Friday morning from midnight to 3 a.m. On the rare occasion of a month with a fifth Thursday OTE runs an additional two ...

Over The Edge (game)
''Over the Edge'' is a surreal role-playing game of secrets and conspiracies, taking place on the mysterious Island of Al Amarja. It was created by Jonathan Tweet with Robin Laws, and published by Atlas Games. ''Over The Edge'' departed from the model of predefined character attributes and skills, in favour of player-chosen traits; and was among the first to be based on the dice pool, where the number of dice rolled, rather than how they are interpreted, is determined by the characters' abilities. Both ''Over the Edge'' and '' Vampire: The Masquerade'' were based upon a project between Jonathan Tweet and Mark Rein·Hagen which followed their development of ''Ars Magica'' for Lion Rampant. They share the concept of a dice pool, which they presumably inherit from that initial design. This game mechanic had previously been seen in West End Games' ''Ghostbusters'' and '' Star Wars,'' and FASA's Shadowrun roleplaying games. While ''Vampire'' has achieved far more popularity, '' ...

Powertrippin'
''Powertrippin is the third studio album by Scottish rock band The Almighty. It was released in the United Kingdom in 1993 by Polydor Records and was the band's final studio album for that label. It was the band's first album to feature guitarist Pete Friesen, who replaced founding guitarist Tantrum. Friesen contributed to the songwriting and was a major part of the new sound presented on this album, introducing a heavier, riff-based grunge sound compared to the punk leanings of earlier efforts. The subject of the cover art is taken from the artwork 'Jet Age Man'' by Ralph Morse, which featured on the cover of ''Life'' magazine in December 1954. Three singles were released from the album in multiple formats in 1993. "Addiction" (CD, 12" vinyl), "Out of Season" (2-CD, 7" vinyl & 12" vinyl) and "Over the Edge" (CD, cassette, 12" & 7" vinyl). The album was re-released in the United Kingdom and later in Japan with a bonus disc which contained a live show from August 22, 1992 at Don ...

Just Supposin'
''Just Supposin is the thirteenth album by Status Quo. Co-produced by the group and John Eden, it was recorded at Windmill Lane Studios, Dublin. Released on 17 October 1980, it entered the UK albums chart at number 4. Three tracks were issued as singles the same year, "What You're Proposing", and a double A-side, "Lies"/"Don't Drive My Car". At the end of 1981 an edited version of another track, the uncharacteristic ballad "Rock 'n' Roll", appeared as a single after the release of Quo's subsequent album '' Never Too Late''. It was a prolific recording session, which included enough material for ''Never Too Late'', released only five months later. "Over the Edge" was co-written by bass player Alan Lancaster and Keith Lamb, lead singer of British bands The Case, Sleepy Talk and Mr. Toad, and founder and lead singer of Australia's successful glam rock band Hush. The cover art work features the launch phase of a UGM-84 Harpoon submarine missile. Reception In their retrospecti ...

Over The Edge (Kayzo And Gammer Song)
"Over the Edge" is a song by American electronic producer Hayden Capuozzo and English UK hardcore producer Matthew Lee, featuring American singer-songwriter August Hausman. Canadian record label Monstercat released it on August 11, 2017. The song was featured on the compilation album ''Monstercat Uncaged Vol. 2'', released August 25, 2017. Background and release In early 2017, Capuozzo had received an a cappella song sent by Hausman, though Capuozzo had not started on any production using the a cappella as he decided to instead finish up other projects. During Flux Pavilion's ''Around The World in 80 Raves'' tour, Capuozzo started production on "Over the Edge" using Hausman's original a cappella. He later contacted Lee to propose a collaboration between the two as the song would be divergent compared to both producers past work. In an interview with '' Billboard'', Capuozzo commented on the production process of the song, saying "It had a vibe that would be great for us to tr ...
