Tusk (album)
''Tusk'' is the twelfth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released as a double album on 12 October 1979 by Warner Bros. Records. It is considered more experimental than their previous albums, partly as a consequence of Lindsey Buckingham's sparser songwriting arrangements and the influence of post-punk. The production costs were initially estimated to be about $1 million but many years later were revealed to be about $1.4 million (equivalent to $ in ), making it the most expensive rock album recorded to that date. The band embarked on a nine-month tour to promote ''Tusk''. They travelled extensively across the world, including the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. In Germany, they shared the bill with Bob Marley. On this world tour, the band recorded music for the '' Fleetwood Mac Live'' album, released in 1980. Compared to 1977's '' Rumours'', which sold ten million copies by February 1978, ''Tu ...

Ragged Glory
''Ragged Glory'' is the 18th studio album by Canadian / American singer-songwriter Neil Young, and his sixth album with the band Crazy Horse. It was released by Reprise Records on September 9, 1990. Recording The ''Ragged Glory'' sessions took place in April 1990 at Young's Broken Arrow Ranch. The band played a set of songs twice a day for a couple of weeks (never repeating the same songs in a set), then went back, listened and chose the best takes. According to Young, this approach "took 'analysis' out of the game during the sessions, allowing the Horse to not think". Music and lyrics The album revisits the heavy rock style previously explored on ''Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere'' and '' Zuma''. The first two tracks, "Country Home" and "White Line" are songs Young and Crazy Horse originally wrote and performed live in the 1970s (the original recording of "White Line", made for an aborted '' Homegrown'' album, would finally see release in 2020). "Farmer John" is a cover of a ...

"The Music That We Hear", included on special-edition versions of the album, is a reworking of "Moog Island" from Morcheeba's debut album, '' Who Can You Trust?'' ''Statues'' is the fourth and final studio album by English-Irish electronic music duo Moloko. It was released on 3 March 2003 by The Echo Label. Production on the album was described as "massive" by Murphy, who declared the cost of it "almost killed" the band. She added "there was a very great deal of thought and attention that went into mixing this record." At the time of its release, the long-term romantic partnership between group members Róisín Murphy and Mark Brydon had dissolved, setting the stage for Murphy's 2005 solo album, '' Ruby Blue''. ''Statues'' is composed of material which describes the various emotional milestones in a romantic relationship, or rather as it comes apart. Moloko toured Europe ...
