Ove Christensen
Ove Christensen (born 26 March 1950) is a Danish football manager who is currently the director of football of Danish fourth tier club Silkeborg KFUM. He has managed a number of Danish Superliga clubs, and won the Danish women's championship with Fortuna Hjørring. Coaching career Christensen started his career coaching lower-league clubs, beginning with Brønderslev IF in 1982. He managed Vrå IF, before moving to the women's topflight Elitedivisionen team Fortuna Hjørring in 1985, staying there for three years. He spent four years with men's team Nørresundby Boldklub, guiding the club to the second-tier Danish 1st Division in 1991, with players such as later Danish champions Henrik Rasmussen and Jan Pedersen. He joined Fortuna Hjørring for a second stint in 1994, guiding the club to the Double in 1995, by winning both the Elitedivisionen and the Danish Women's Cup. Brønderslev
Brønderslev is a city in Denmark with a population of 12,549 (1 January 2022). The city is the largest urban area in Brønderslev Municipality and is the municipal seat. It is the fourth largest city of Vendsyssel within the North Jutland Region. History The name of the town is derived from a local Norsemen chief, Brunder. Brønderslev was formerly known as ''Vester Brønderslev'', in contrast to the neighboring ''Øster Brønderslev''. As of 2020, Øster Brønderslev has a population of just 943. Vester Brønderslev was once a small farming village. In 1682, it consisted of just 27 farms and 47 houses. The town was not initially located on any major thoroughfares and saw very little traffic. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. Flemming Serritslev (born 18 February 1947) is a Danish footballer, coach and manager who is currently head coach of the Fiji national team. Biography Serritslev played most of his career for Vejle Boldklub in a successful period. Thus, Serritslev was part of a team that won the Danish championship in 1972 and the Danish Cup in 1972, 1975 and 1977. As manager Flemming Serritslev ensured Danish side B1909 a place in the best Danish league in 1990. In 1992, he became assistant manager of the Danish national team before he went on to become head coach of the Danish U21 team. In 2006 Serritslev returned to his childhood club Vejle as sports manager. The Danish Football Union ( da, Dansk Boldspil-Union; DBU) is the governing body of football in Denmark. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. Jan Osvald Pedersen (born 9 November 1962 in Middelfart, Denmark) is a former Speedway rider who became Speedway World Champion in 1991 after finishing runner-up in 1986 and in third place in 1988 behind fellow Danes Erik Gundersen and Hans Nielsen. He also won the Speedway World Pairs Championship in 1990 and 1991, both times partnered by Hans Nielsen. Career In 1983 Pedersen signed for the Cradley Heathens. His first British meeting heralded a five-point return in Birmingham's Second City individual Trophy on 18 March.
