Outlawz
Outlawz (formerly known as Outlaw Immortalz) are an American hip hop group founded by rapper Tupac Shakur in late 1995 after Shakur's release from prison. Collectively, they were best known for their association with Shakur. Most of the group members are named after political figures. Members * Rufus "Young Noble" Cooper III, the current co-leader of the Outlawz. * Malcolm "E.D.I. Mean" Greenridge was named for Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. He is the co-leader of the Outlawz. * Mopreme "Komani" Shakur, Tupac's stepbrother and was a member of Tupac's previous group Thug Life. Big Syke
Tyruss Gerald Himes (November 22, 1968 – December 5, 2016), better known by his stage names Big Syke and Mussolini, was an American rapper best known for his work with the American hip-hop groups Thug Life and Outlawz. His stage name "Big Syke" is a revision of his childhood nickname "Little Psycho". He died at his home in Hawthorne, California on December 5, 2016. Career In 1990, Big Syke and fellow rappers Domino and Mental Illness started a hip-hop group named Evil Mind Gangstas. In 1992 he met rapper Tupac "2Pac" Shakur and joined 2Pac's rap group Thug Life. In 1995 he joined 2Pac's second rap group The Outlaw Immortalz as Mussolini and recorded songs for 2Pac's 1996 album ''All Eyez on Me'', including "Picture Me Rollin'", "When We Ride", "All Eyez on Me", and "Check Out Time". Hussein Fatal
Bruce Edward Washington Jr. (April 3, 1973July 10, 2015), better known by his stage name Hussein Fatal or sometimes as Fatal Hussein, was an American rapper, best known for his collaborative work with Tupac Shakur as a member of the rap group Outlaw Immortalz or just Outlawz. Early life Fatal was born Bruce Edward Washington Jr. on April 3, 1973. Career Washington first appeared as "Hussein Fatal" in February 1996 on the songs "All Bout U" and "When We Ride" from Shakur's album ''All Eyez on Me''. As a member of the Outlaw Immortalz, his name was chosen to evoke a villain, Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. In June 1996, he was featured on Shakur's song "Hit 'Em Up", insulting Shakur's rivals in the song's second verse. After Shakur was fatally shot in September 1996 and Outlawz member Yaki Kadafi was murdered in November, Washington didn't appear on another recording until 1998 when Relativity Records released his first solo album ''In the Line of Fire''. The 7 Day Theory
''The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory'' (commonly shortened to ''The 7 Day Theory'' or ''Makaveli'') is the fifth studio album by American rapper Tupac Shakur, his first posthumous album and the last released with his creative input. Recorded in seven days in August 1996, it was released on November 5, 1996, almost two months after his death, under the stage name of Makaveli, through Death Row Records, Makaveli Records and Interscope Records. Yaki Kadafi
Yafeu Akiyele Fula (October 9, 1977 – November 10, 1996), better known by his stage name Yaki Kadafi, was an American rapper and a founder and member of the hip hop groups Outlawz and Dramacydal. Early life and education Yafeu Fula was born in the Bronx, New York City, on October 9, 1977, to Sekou Odinga and Yaasmyn Fula. When he was four years old his father Sekou Odinga was arrested and imprisoned; he was raised by his mother and adopted her surname. Kadafi's parents were both members of the Black Panther Party. Yaasmyn Fula and Tupac Shakur's mother, Afeni Shakur, were close friends, and Kadafi and Tupac were friends until their respective deaths in 1996. Kadafi has two daughters. Career In 1994, Fula met up again with his childhood friend Mutah "Napoleon" Beale. Yaasmyn Fula, the mother of Yafeu, introduced Napoleon to Tupac Shakur, and all three created Dramacydal. Kastro (Outlawz)
Katari Terrance Cox (born December 30, 1976) better known by his stage name Kastro, is an American rapper. A cousin of Tupac Shakur, Kastro would perform alongside him in the former's rap group, the Outlawz,http://www.2pacinfo.com/tupac/family.shtml and is featured on many of the late rapper's songs such as "Made Niggaz", & "Hail Mary". When he was in elementary school, he introduced his friend, and future Outlawz rapper, Malcolm Greenridge, later named E.D.I. Mean, to his cousin. Career Kastro started rapping with the name "K-Dog". He was in a rap group with Big Malcolm ( E.D.I. Mean), and Young Hollywood (Yaki Kadafi) in the beginning and began rapping in some of 2Pac's songs during the '' Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.'' sessions. Rufus Cooper III (born March 21, 1978), also known by his stage name Young Noble, is an American rapper who was part of Tupac Shakur's rap group Outlawz. Noble joined the Outlawz in early 1996, and was the last member to be added to the group by Tupac himself, before the late rapper's death in September 1996. Life and career Noble was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California. He made his debut on Shakur's album '' The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory'' on 4 songs "Bomb First (My Second Reply)", "Hail Mary", "Life of an Outlaw", and "Just Like Daddy". Maurice Harding (born August 16, 1967), better known by his stage name Mopreme Shakur, originally known as Wycked, is an American rapper. He was a member of the hip-hop group Thug Life and is the stepbrother of Tupac Shakur. He was also a member of the Outlawz (under the name Komani), but later dropped out because of a financial disagreement with Death Row Records. Career Mopreme's first recorded as Mocedes on Tony Toni Toné's 1990 single "Feels Good". He first collaborated with his brother Tupac on " Papa'z Song", a single from the 1993 album ''Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.'', credited as 'Wycked'. Cashville Records (formerly G-Unit South) is an American independent record label based in Nashville, Tennessee founded by rapper Young Buck.
