Outlaw Treasure
''Outlaw Treasure'' is a 1955 American Western film directed by Oliver Drake and starring Johnny Carpenter, Adele Jergens, and Glenn Langan. It was one of the first movies released by American Releasing Corporation, which later became American International Pictures. ( Samuel Z. Oliver Drake (filmmaker)
Clarence Oliver Drake (May 28, 1903 – August 19, 1991) was an American film/television director, screenwriter, producer and actor who was most active in the Western genre. Though Drake began his career as an actor, he is best known as a prolific screenwriter and director of low-budget Western films (sometimes referred to as B-Westerns). Drake was most active in the 1930s and 1940s, although he continued writing and directing films until 1974. His films include ''Today I Hang'' (1942). Hal Baylor
Hal Harvey Fieberling (born Hal David Britton); December 10, 1918 – January 15, 1998 known professionally as Hal Baylor, was an American actor, probably best known for his role as Pvt. 'Sky' Choynski in the film '' Sands of Iwo Jima''. In 1956, he portrayed “Dolph Timble” in James Arness's TV Western Series '' Gunsmoke'' in the episode “Hack Prine” (S1E26). In addition to his acting career, he was also a boxer, with a record of 52-5 as an amateur and 16-8-3 as a professional. Baylor was born in San Antonio, Texas, and died in Los Angeles. Herman Arthur "Harry" Lauter (June 19, 1914 – October 30, 1990) was an American character actor. Early years Lauter was born in White Plains, New York. He worked as a model for a professional photographer and was a rodeo rider before moving into acting. Lauter came from an entertainment-oriented family, with his father and grandfather having been part of The Flying Lauters trapeze act. Career Lauter's acting break came with a role in ''The Magnificent Rogue'' (1946), in which he played a model. He came to be a familiar presence in supporting roles in low-budget films, serials (where he was often cast because of his facial resemblance to stuntman Tom Steele, who would double for him), and television programs in the 1950s.
