''Out of My Hands'' is the seventh studio album by American singer Jennifer Rush. It was released by Electrola on February 9, 1995. Commercially, the album improved on Rush's previous one by reaching number 15 on the German Albums Chart during a four-month chart run. ''Out of My Hands'' was led by single "Tears in the Rain," a song originally recorded by Robin Beck. "Tears in the Rain" became Rush's biggest single of the decade, charting highly in many European countries, particularly in Germany. Jennifer Rush
Jennifer Rush (born Heidi Stern; September 28, 1960) is an American pop and rock singer. She achieved success during the mid-1980s with several singles and studio albums including the million-selling single " The Power of Love", which she co-wrote and released in 1984. Her greatest success came in Europe, particularly Germany. Early life Rush was born Heidi Stern in the New York City borough of Queens and has two older brothers. Her father, Maurice Stern, is an operatic tenor, voice teacher, and sculptor. Her parents divorced, and she and her brothers lived with their mother only until Rush was a toddler, and then with their father and his second wife on the Upper West Side of the borough of Manhattan. Queen (band)
Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock. Before forming Queen, May and Taylor had played together in the band Smile (band), Smile. Justin Hayward
David Justin Hayward (born 14 October 1946) is an English musician best known as the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the rock band the Moody Blues. Hayward became the group's principal lead guitarist and vocalist over the 1967–1974 period, and the most prolific songwriter and composer of several international hit singles for the band. "Nights in White Satin" is a song by the Moody Blues, written and composed by Justin Hayward. It was first featured as the segment "The Night" on the album ''Days of Future Passed''. When first released as a single in 1967, it reached number 19 on the UK Singles Chart and number 103 in the United States in 1968. It was the first significant chart entry by the band since "Go Now" and its recent lineup change, in which Denny Laine and Clint Warwick had resigned and both Hayward and John Lodge had joined. When reissued in 1972, the single hit number two in the United States for two weeks on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 (behind " I Can See Clearly Now" by Johnny Nash) and hit number one on the ''Cash Box'' Top 100, making it the band's most successful single in the United States.
