Tulio Demicheli
Tulio Demicheli (born August 15, 1914, Buenos Aires, Argentina - d. May 25, 1992, Madrid, Spain) was an Argentina, Argentine film director, born Spanish film director, screenwriter and film producer of the classic era. Born as Armando Bartolomé Demichelli in 1914, Demicheli initially began as a screenwriter in 1944 but by 1950 with his directorial debut in ''Arrabalera (1950 film), Arrabalera'' in 1950 he began to simultaneously direct and write for his films. He directed and wrote for some 60 films between 1944 and 1987. Overall he is best known for his work in Tango (dance), tango film production and worked with popular actors of the period such as Tita Merello, Santiago Gómez Cou and Tito Alonso. He died on May 25, 1992 from cancer, aged 77. Lang Jeffries
Lang Jeffries (June 7, 1930 – February 12, 1987) was a Canadian-American television and film actor. Biography From 1958 to 1960, Jeffries starred as Skip Johnson in the adventure television series ''Rescue 8''. He starred in several American films in the 1960s, including ''Don't Knock the Twist'' (1962). Jeffries starred as Vibio in the foreign film, '' La Rivolta degli schiavi'', or ''The Revolt of the Slaves'', with his wife Rhonda Fleming cast as Fabiola. Jeffries persuaded producers to cast him in the role after he traveled to Rome with his wife and discovered that the leading male role had not been cast. After he and Fleming traveled to Madrid to film, they discovered that the director, Nunzio Malasomma, would not speak to either of them, so Jeffries directed them both. Giovanni Fusco
Giovanni Fusco (10 October 1906, Sant'Agata dei Goti, Benevento – 31 May 1968, Rome) was an Italian composer, pianist and conductor, who has written numerous film scores since 1936, including those of Alain Resnais's ''Hiroshima mon amour'' (1959) and '' La guerre est finie'' (1966), as well as those of most of the 1948-1964 films directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, from '' N.U.'' (''Nettezza Urbana'') to '' Il deserto rosso'', except for ''La notte'' (soundtrack by Giorgio Gaslini) and some of his early short films. Two of his soundtracks, those of Antonioni's ''Cronaca di un amore'' and ''L'avventura'', won Silver Ribbon for the best film score from Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists in 1951 and 1961, respectively. Eurospy Film
Eurospy film, or Spaghetti spy film (when referring to Italian-produced films in the genre), is a genre of spy films produced in Europe, especially in Italy, France, and Spain, that either sincerely imitated or else parodied the British James Bond spy series feature films. The first wave of Eurospy films were released in 1964, two years after the first James Bond film, '' Dr. No'', and in the same year as the premiere of what many consider to be the apotheosis of the Bond series, '' Goldfinger''. For the most part, the Eurospy craze lasted until around 1967 or 1968. In Italy, where most of these films were produced, this trend replaced the declining sword and sandal genre. Christopher Frayling, who estimated the number of Eurospy films at 50, felt that they passed on such traits to the Spaghetti Western as emphasis on the technology of death, such as special weapons, the anonymity of the protagonist, the "money = power" equation of the villains and humorous asides that released ...
