Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School is a Catholic separate school in Mississauga, Ontario. It is part of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and is affiliated with the parish of St. John of the Cross. The Trustee is Brea Corbet and the Current Principal is Mr. Lezon. The school has approximately 1,750 students. The school also boasts numerous committees and clubs to encourage extra curricular participation amongst the student body such as the Photography club, Drama club or Student Council. Some clubs have special events within the school such as the Health Club; Pro-Life Club participates in the March for Life in Ottawa, Ontario; and the Comic Book Club writes, draws, and publishes their own comic books. Aaron Solowoniuk
Aaron Solowoniuk ( ) is the drummer for the Canadian band Billy Talent. Background Solowoniuk was born and raised in Streetsville, a neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario, and began drumming at a young age, his first set being a gift from his parents. His father was born in Ukraine. His grandfathers were from Poland. As he grew up, Solowoniuk continued drumming and eventually met Benjamin Kowalewicz and Jon Gallant at their high school, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Secondary School where they started a band called "To Each His Own". A few years later, the band met Ian D'Sa who was playing in "Dragon Flower". The four later joined up together and became "The Other One" then later "Pezz". Solowoniuk continued to play in Pezz and after high school, he got his auto body certificate and worked at a Chrysler factory as an assembly line worker. Ese Mrabure-Ajufo (born December 5, 1992) is a Canadian football defensive lineman who is currently a member of the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played CIS football for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. Early career Mrabure-Ajufo played high school football in his senior year at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School. From 2011 to 2014, he played university football for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. He recorded 50 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery. He was an OUA second-team all-star in his senior year. The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York. The Sabres compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. Moulson played 650 games in the National Hockey League (NHL), the majority of which were spent with the New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres. Raye Hartmann (born February 17, 1990) is a Canadian football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2014 CFL Draft by the Edmonton Eskimos with the 30th overall pick. Billy Talent is a Canadian rock band from Mississauga, Ontario. They formed in 1993 with lead vocalist Benjamin Kowalewicz, guitarist Ian D'Sa, bassist Jonathan Gallant, and drummer Aaron Solowoniuk.
