Oumar Kondé
Oumar Kondé (born 19 August 1979) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a defender in the 1990s and 2000s. Career Youth football and FC Basel Born in Binningen, Switzerland, and his of Congolese descent, Kondé started his youth football with career with local club SC Binningen in his native Switzerland. In 1994 he moved to FC Basel and joined their first team during their 1995–96 season signing his first professional contract under head-coach Claude Andrey. Kondé played his debut for the club in the Swiss Cup game on 10 March 1996. It was an away match and won 2–0 against FC Gossau. Kondé played his domestic league debut for the club in the away game on 14 April as Basel were defeated 3–0 by Grasshopper Club. He scored his first goal in the Swiss Cup on 15 March 1997. FC Gossau is a Swiss football club from the city of Gossau in the canton of St. Gallen. It currently plays in the Challenge League, the second-highest level of Swiss football. History After its foundation in 1906, FC Gossau spent the first 65 years of its history in almost entire unimportance. This changed in 1971 when they advanced for the first time to the 1. John Collins (footballer Born 1968)
John Angus Paul Collins (born 31 January 1968) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He played for Hibernian, Celtic, AS Monaco, Everton and Fulham in a 19-year career. Collins also represented Scotland 58 times, scoring in the opening match of the 1998 FIFA World Cup against Brazil. He started his coaching career as manager of Hibernian, winning the 2007 Scottish League Cup Final, but resigned later that year. He then had a brief spell as manager of Charleroi in 2009. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point.
