Mama Ouattara
Mama Ouattara (22 June 1951 – June 12, 2004) was a footballer from Bouna, Ivory Coast. He played for French clubs Nîmes Olympique, Montpellier HSC, Olympique Avignonnais and homeland club Stade d'Abidjan, as well as the Ivory Coast national team. Following his playing career he pursued a career in coaching, being assigned a job in the Ivory Coast national team in 2002. He took the Ivorian junior team to second place at the 2003 African Youth Championship in Burkina Faso and subsequently led the team to the World Youth Championship in the United Arab Emirates. He became the right-hand man to former national team coach Henri Michel. Ouattara Watts (born May 27, 1957) is an American artist from Ivory Coast known for his multimedia paintings that incorporate African and Western aesthetics and depict themes of spirituality and modernity. His work has been exhibited in reputable collections internationally, and he is classified by Christie's as a "Top Artist." Watts studied at l'École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France. In Paris, he met Jean-Michel Basquiat at an exhibition opening in January 1988. Basquiat was impressed by Watts's paintings and convinced him to move to New York City. They had a very short but important collaboration. Billy Yakuba Ouattara (born January 24, 1992, in Tepa, Ghana) is a Ghanaian-French professional basketball player for AS Monaco of the LNB Pro A and EuroLeague. Professional career Ouattara first began his professional career out in France with the Élan Chalon of the LNB Pro A in 2012 as a 20-year-old. He played with that team for two seasons before signing a one-year deal with the ASC Denain-Voltaire PH, who were a part of the LNB Pro B at that time. During that year, he helped the team make it to the LNB Pro B Finals before ultimately losing the series to Hyères-Toulon Var Basket. Morou Ouattara is an executive chef and owner of the Kora and Farrah Olivia restaurants in Arlington, VA. Born and raised on the Ivory Coast in West Africa in a family with 33 children, he combines French, African and Middle Eastern cuisines.
