Otto Jespersen (comedian)
Hans Otto Jespersen (born 21 July 1954) is a Norwegian comedian, actor and television personality. He starred in the title role of the 2010 film ''Trollhunter''. Biography At the age of 19 Jespersen became a Marxist-Leninist, and was briefly a member of the Communist organization Red Youth. Working in a local radio station, Radio Nova in Oslo, in 1988 Jespersen and collaborators Stig Holmer and Charlo Halvorsen launched the magazine programme ''Revolvermagasinet'' on Norwegian national radio. This night-time show featured unusual interviews. In 1992, the three again teamed up for ''The Show - storbymoro for enslige i Utkant-Norge'' on national television. ''The Show'' became the Norwegian candidate for the Rose d'Or in 1993, but several judges left the theatre before the programme was over. Monologue
In theatre, a monologue (from el, μονόλογος, from μόνος ''mónos'', "alone, solitary" and λόγος ''lógos'', "speech") is a speech presented by a single character, most often to express their thoughts aloud, though sometimes also to directly address another character or the audience. Monologues are common across the range of dramatic media (plays, films, etc.), as well as in non-dramatic media such as poetry. Monologues share much in common with several other literary devices including soliloquies, apostrophes, and asides. There are, however, distinctions between each of these devices. Espen Eckbo
Espen Andersen Eckbo (born 22 April 1973) is a Norwegian actor, writer and comedian. He was born in Oslo, and grew up in Bestum. He now lives in Ullevål Hageby. Eckbo has no formal training as an actor, but has a background as a law student for two years at the University of Oslo. Internationally, he is best recognised for having helped to create the fictional boy band Boyzvoice and the subsequent mockumentary '' Get Ready to be Boyzvoiced'' (2000) together with Henrik Elvestad. Eckbo first appeared on Norwegian television in 1998, when he got his own segment in the news satire program '' Mandagsklubben'', where he would portray a different character every week in a mock documentary style. Pia Renate Haraldsen (born Pia Renate Strømsnes 1 August 1981) is a Norway, Norwegian TV personality, comedian and author, most known for her interviews on the Norwegian TV show ''Rikets Røst''. She is the daughter of Jasmin Haraldsen, who was married to the Queen Sonja of Norway, Queen of Norway's nephew. Zahid Ali
Zahid Ali ( ur, زاہد علی; born 30 June 1976) is a Norwegian stand-up comedian. He is known for his participation in the TV2 show '' Rikets Røst'', which is hosted by Otto Jespersen. After the publicity this show resulted in, he has become a popular comedian and actor. In 2006 Ali, who is of Pakistani descent, gathered almost all of the most popular comedians in Norway to raise money for relief work in Pakistan after the earthquake disaster that year. All the money raised was donated to the Embassy of Pakistan and was used to build a new school in Kashmir. In December 2006, Ali appeared in the series ''Jul i Tøyengata'' on Norwegian channel TVNorge, playing the lead role as shoemaker Ali.
