Ljubica "Buba" Otašević ( sr-cyr, Љубица Оташевић; born August 2, 1933 – April 12, 1998) was a Yugoslav and Serbian actress, body double, and basketball player. Early life Born in the village of Ljutovnica near Gornji Milanovac to a Royal Yugoslav Air Force officer father Božidar Otašević and mother Olga, young Ljubica grew up in Belgrade with a younger brother Duda. Their father was among the Yugoslav airmen that defended the country in April 1941 during the German invasion before getting captured by the invading Germans and taken to a Nazi concentration camp in Osnabrück where he was imprisoned until the end of World War II. In the meantime, her mother Olga had left the family so that young Ljubica and her brother were raised by their grandmother Danica in an apartment on Deligradska Street in Belgrade. Vladimir Otašević ( sr-cyr, Владимир Оташевић; born 8 June 1986) is a Serbian retired football defender. Club career He was playing for Metalac Gornji Milanovac from 2004 to 2011 and he played on 207 league matches in 3 different leagues. In 2011, he signed for Spartak Subotica, and stayed in club for season and half. Then, he left to Radnički Kragujevac. He joined Radnički Kragujevac in 2013. After a year in club, he broke the contract and left the club. He signed for Novi Pazar in 2014. At the beginning of season 2014–15 he injured after one duel on the match versus his previous club, Radnički Kragujevac. After ended contract with Novi Pazar, he signed with Mladost Lučani. He made 13 league appearances for Mladost Lučani in 2015. Đorđe Otašević ( sr-cyr, Ђорђе Оташевић) was a Yugoslav basketball player. Playing career During his playing career in the 1950s, Otašević was on Belgrade-based teams Crvena zvezda and OKK Beograd and of the Yugoslav Federal League. During his only season with the Zvezda he won the 1954 Yugoslav Championship. Later, he joined OKK Beograd where he played with Radivoj Korać, Slobodan Gordić, and Miodrag Nikolić. With them he won the 1958 Yugoslav Championship and lost a Yugoslav Cup final in 1959. Lilly Otasevic ( sr-Cyrl, Лили Оташевић, born 1969) is a Serbian Canadian artist based in Toronto, whose large-scale sculptural works have been commissioned by several local governments in Ontario, Canada. Ecological concepts are frequently incorporated into her sculptures and also determine the materials being used. Career Although a trained painter, Otasevic's portfolio mainly consists of large-scale sculptures. She often focuses on environmental themes when designing public art works. Her "Mobius" monument has a looped shape which refers to the recycling logo, thereby underlining our relationship with nature. Molded from stainless steel, the sculptural work is found in downtown Toronto. Otasevic's "Break-Wave" bench proposal won the 2016, design competition held by the Design Exchange museum and Nespresso.
