Osvald Polívka
Osvald Polívka (24 May 1859 in Enns – 30 April 1931 in Prague) was an Austrian-born Czech architect associated with the Art Nouveau period in Prague. Polívka designed many of Prague's significant landmarks of the era, plus other work in Brno and elsewhere. After graduating from Czech Polytechnic in Prague, his first important commission was a collaboration with Antonín Wiehl, the 1894 Prague City Savings Bank. Polívka's style evolved through his active years but he remained devoted to the collaborating with artists for aesthetic effect. For the ornate landmark Municipal House he coordinated the work of many significant Czech muralists and sculptors of the time, including his friend Alfons Mucha. He is buried at Olšany Cemetery in Prague. Municipal House
Municipal House ( cs, Obecní dům) is a civic building that houses Smetana Hall, a celebrated concert venue, in Prague. It is located on Náměstí Republiky next to the Powder Gate in the centre of the city. History The Royal Court palace used to be located on the site of the Municipal House. From 1383 until 1485 the King of Bohemia lived in the property. After 1485, it was abandoned. It was demolished in the early 20th century. Construction of the current building started in 1905. It opened in 1912. The building was designed by Osvald Polívka and Antonín Balšánek. The Municipal House was the location of the Czechoslovak declaration of independence. Ladislav Šaloun
Ladislav Jan Šaloun (1 August 1870, Prague – 18 October 1946, Prague) was a prominent Czech sculptor of the Art Nouveau period. Life Šaloun was born in 1870 in Prague and he studied in the studios of Tomáš Seidan and Bohuslav Schnirch.Ladislav Saloun Grove Art, retrieved 5 November 2013 He was involved as an artist in the Mánes Union of Fine Arts. This independent education allowed him to avoid the influence of Josef Václav Myslbek, looking instead to the work of Auguste Rodin. He was later admitted to the prestigious Czech Academy of Sciences in 1912 but never took training there. In 1927 he was appointed the civic artistic advisor for the city of Prague in 1927, and in 1946 was honored by being named a National Artist. Stanislav Sucharda
Stanislav Sucharda (12 November 1866 in Nová Paka – 5 May 1916 in Prague-Bubeneč), Czech sculptor and professor at the Prague School of Applied Arts from 1899, and a leading figure in the Mánes Union of Fine Arts (S.U.V. Mánes), founded in 1887.
His work can be seen at the František Palacký Monument in the New Town, Prague, and architectural sculpture on several Art Nouveau buildings for Czech architects Osvald Polívka and Jan Kotěra, notably Polívka's New City Hall (Prague), New City Hall in Prague. He also designed a monument to Czech composer Karel Bendl which stands in Bubeneč, in the northwest sections of Prague.

New City Hall (Prague)
Prague New City Hall (Czech: ''Nová radnice''), the central administrative building of Prague (not to be confused with the New Town Hall/''Novoměstská radnice'', once the town hall of Prague's New Town and now the building of the city district Prague 2), is located on the east side of '' Mariánské náměstí'' (Virgin Mary Square) in the centre of the Old Town, Prague 1, across from the Clementinum building complex. Wenceslas Square (Czech: , colloquially ''Václavák'' ) is one of the main city squares and the centre of the business and cultural communities in the New Town of Prague, Czech Republic.
