Oss (film)
''Oss'' (Us) is a Norwegian post-apocalyptic disaster film from 1976 directed by Laila Mikkelsen. The film is based on a story by Knut Faldbakken. Plot The film is about the aftermath of an economic disaster as a result of poor countries stopping their exports of raw materials. Laila Mikkelsen (20 August 1940 – 13 January 2023) was a Norwegian film director and producer. Mikkelsen was born in Vardø on 20 August 1940. She made her film debut in 1976 with '' Oss''. Her film ''Little Ida'' is set during the German occupation of Norway, and received international attention. Her film ''Søsken på Guds jord'' was based on a novel by Arvid Hanssen Arvid Hanssen (28 July 1932 – 31 July 1998) was a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor, poet, novelist and children's writer. Knut Faldbakken
Knut Faldbakken (born 31 August 1941, in Hamar) is a Norwegian novelist. He studied psychology at Oslo University, and then worked as a journalist. Faldbakken visited a number of countries, working variously as a bookkeeper, sailor, and factory worker, and began writing books in 1967 while living in Paris. He was editor of the literary magazine ''Vinduet'' (''The Window'') between 1975 and 1979. His sons Stefan Faldbakken and Matias Faldbakken Matias Faldbakken (born 1973 in Hobro, Denmark) is a Norwegian artist and writer. Knut Husebø
Knut Husebø (born 10 May 1946) is a Norwegian actor and visual artist. Born in Stavanger, Husebø debuted in 1968 in the role Flyndrefanten in the play ''Taremare by'' on Den Nationale Scene. He was employed at the Nationaltheatret 1969–1971 and 1975–1986, interrupted by an engagement at the National Theatre 1977–1979 and 1982–1983. Since 1986 he has been a freelance actor. Among the roles Husebø has played are Edmund in ''King Lear'', Orsino in the ''Twelfth Night'' and the title role in Henrik Ibsen's ''Catiline''. Ellen Horn
Ellen Horn (born Ellen Stoesen, 1 February 1951) is a Norwegian actress, theatre director, and politician for the Labour Party.Rossiné Career Horn started as a puppet actor at Oslo Nye Teater (1969–70), and was educated at the Teaterhøyskolen (1972–75), and since the late 1980s has been one of the most central and prominent figures in Norwegian theater. Astrid Borgny Folstad (31 May 1932 – 21 January 2009) was a Norwegian actress. She was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre from 1953 to 1956.
