Oscar Ivanissevich
Oscar Ivanissevich (5 August 1895 - 5 June 1976) was an Argentinian politician, physician and footballer. He belonged to Peronist Party and is considered the co-author of the Peronist March. He served as Minister of Education in two terms designated by president Juan Domingo Perón, between 1949 and 1950, and by president Isabel Perón, between 1974 and 1975 and was rector of the University of Buenos Aires. Also he served as Argentinian Ambassador to the United States between 1946 and 1948. He was born in Buenos Aires in a Croatian immigrant family to Antonio Ivanissevich and Elena Defilippis. He played football in the Second Division of Argentina in teams such as Kimberley and Estudiantes de Buenos Aires Club Atlético Estudiantes, usually called Estudiantes de Caseros or Estudiantes de Buenos Aires, is an Argentine football club from Caseros, Buenos Aires. Peronist March
The "Peronist March" ( es, Marcha Peronista) is the anthem of the Peronist movement and the official song of the Justicialist Party of Argentina, previously known as the Peronist Party. Originally composed as a football club anthem by Juan Raimundo Streiff in the 1930s, its current lyrics, alluding to President Juan Domingo Perón and the movement he led and founded, were written by education minister Oscar Ivanissevich in 1948 and first recorded by Hugo del Carril in 1949. Since its adoption by the Peronist movement, it has been re-recorded in various styles, such as tango and folk, and more contemporary versions in cumbia and rock. Isabel Martínez de Perón (, born María Estela Martínez Cartas, 4 February 1931), also known as Isabelita, is an Argentine politician who served as President of Argentina from 1974 to 1976. She was one of the first female republican heads of state in the world, and the first woman to serve as president of a country. Isabel Perón was the third wife of President Juan Perón. During her husband's third term as president from 1973 to 1974, she served as both Vice President and First Lady of Argentina.
