Oscar Hultman
Oscar N. Hultman (November 2, 1887 – September 14, 1969) was an American politician who served in the Iowa House of Representatives from the 12th district from 1933 to 1941 and from 1955 to 1957 and in the Iowa Senate from the 8th district from 1945 to 1953. He died on September 14, 1969, in Stanton, Iowa at age 81. The Iowa House of Representatives is the lower house of the Iowa General Assembly, the upper house being the Iowa Senate. There are 100 seats in the Iowa House of Representatives, representing 100 single-member districts across the state, formed by dividing the 50 Senate districts in half. Each district has a population of approximately 30,464 . The House of Representatives meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Unlike the upper house, the Iowa Senate, state House representatives serve two-year terms with the whole chamber up for re-election in even-numbered years. There are no term limits for the House. Calvin Hultman
Calvin Oscar Hultman (May 24, 1941 – October 19, 2017) was an American politician in the state of Iowa. Hultman was born in Omaha, Nebraska and attended Iowa State University and Dana College. He lived in Stanton, Iowa (1941–1971), Red Oak, Iowa (1971–1991), Des Moines, Iowa (1991–2014) and McKinney, Texas until the time of his death. He spent his summers in Moose, Wyoming and later had a summer home in Dubois, Wyoming. Hultman was in the retail and lumber business, as well as realty, and became a lobbyist after he retired from the state Senate. Hultman served in the Iowa Senate from 1973 to 1991, as a Republican.
