''El Gráfico'' is an Argentine online sports magazine, originally published by Editorial Atlántida as a print publication between 1919 and 2018. ''El Gráfico'' was released in May 1919 as a weekly newspaper, and then turned to a sports magazine exclusively. It began to be scheduled monthly from 2002, and was discontinued in 2018, continuing only online. The magazine was nicknamed ''La Biblia del deporte'' ("The Bible of sports") due to its chronicles, notable journalists and collaborators and its photographies. History The foundation of the magazine was an initiative of Uruguayan entrepreneur Constancio C. Featherweight is a weight class in the combat sports of boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, and Greco-Roman wrestling. Boxing Professional boxing History A featherweight boxer weighs in at a limit of . In the early days of the division, this limit fluctuated. The British have generally always recognized the limit at 126 pounds, but in America the weight limit was at first 114 pounds. An early champion, George Dixon, moved the limit to 120 and then 122 pounds. Finally, in 1920 the United States fixed the limit at 126 pounds. The 1860 fight between Nobby Clark and Jim Elliott is sometimes called the first featherweight championship. Dezső Frigyes né Dezső Fritsch (November 27, 1913 – July 18, 1984) was a Hungarian boxer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. He was born in Budapest and died in Cleveland. In 1936 he finished fourth in the featherweight class after losing the bronze medal bout to Josef Miner. He won the silver medal in the 1934 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Budapest, and the gold medal in the 1942 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Breslau. Boxing has been contested at every Summer Olympic Games since its introduction to the program at the 1904 Summer Olympics, except for the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm, because Swedish law banned the sport at the time. The 2008 Summer Olympics were the final games with boxing as a male only event. Since the 2012 Summer Olympics, women's boxing is part of the program.
