Oru Thai Makkal
''Oru Thai Makkal'' () is a 1971 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film, directed by P. Neelakantan, starring M. G. Ramachandran, with M. N. Nambiar, Jayalalithaa and R. Muthuraman. It is a remake of the 1964 Hindi film ''Ayee Milan Ki Bela''. The film was released on 9 December 1971. Plot Kannan is a manager in charge of a collective farm who falls in love with Radha, daughter of the leader of the farm, Selvanayagam. When Ravi, cousin of Radha comes to the farm after finishing his education in London, he becomes a good friend of Kannan. Ravi is Kannan's brother adopted by Radha's aunt and uncle, Namasivayam and has hopes on Radha. Rathnam, a drunkard officer of the farm steals and sells the farm's paddy. He is caught red handed to Kannan, who sacks him but doesn't disclose the reason to anyone. Sachin Bhowmick
Sachin Bhowmick (17 July 1930 – 12 April 2011) was an Indian Hindi film writer and director. Writing was his main work and he wrote stories or screenplays for over 94 films. He is best remembered for directing the light romantic black comedy classic '' Raja Rani'' (1973). He was also a regular contributor to ''Ultorath'', a Bengali magazine on cinema. Due to the Bengali pronunciation of his surname Bhaumick we will find his surname spelled as Bhowmick in numerous sites. His name served as the inspiration for an eponymous character played by Kharaj Mukherjee in the 2018 romance ''Dhadak''. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The Federation of Tamil Sangams in North America (FeTNA) is a non-profit organization of Tamil organizations in the United States and Canada. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs. Tamil (; ' , ) is a Dravidian language natively spoken by the Tamil people of South Asia.
