Orlando Contreras (footballer)
Orlando Contreras Collantes (born 11 June 1982 in Pucallpa, Lima) is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a center back for Academia Deportiva Cantolao in the Peruvian First Division. Club career Contreras started his career in the youth academy of Universitario de Deportes, playing for their second team América Cochahuayco. He was already a skilled defender but at that time Universitario de Deportes had great defenders so he never got the opportunity to play for their senior squad. In 2004, he left América Cochahuayco and to join Unión Huaral. After his experience at Unión Huaral he went to FBC Melgar. There he was partnered with Pedro Aparicio and Carlos Solis. In 2007 Contreras joined newly formed Peruvian club Universidad San MartÃn. There he had the best of seasons in all his career. Pucallpa (, qu, puka allpa, lit=red dirt; Shipibo language, Shipibo: ''May Ushin'') is a city in eastern Peru located on the banks of the Ucayali River, a major tributary of the Amazon River. The 2010 Torneo Descentralizado de Fútbol Profesional (known as the 2010 Copa Cable Mágico for sponsorship reasons) was the ninety-fourth season of Association Peruvian football. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament, with Universitario de Deportes as the defending champion. The Peruvian football champions are the winners of the highest league in Peruvian football, which is currently named as Liga 1 and organized by Peruvian Football Federation. The Liga Peruana de Football was established in 1912. It was an amateur league that lasted until 1921 due to scheduling and organizing conflicts. In this league only teams from Lima participated. In 1926, the Peruvian Football Federation took control of organizing the tournament and continued the Peruvian Primera División with the introduction of teams from Callao. Carlos Javier SolÃs Alvarado (born 22 October 1981 in Lima) is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a centre back. He is also a great penalty kicker, and has amazing heading skills, scoring several great goals in every team he has played in. He is well known for his constant barbaric roars in the field, used to scare his rivals and gain more strength before making a header.
