Oriano Quilici
Oriano Quilici (29 November 1929 – 2 November 1998) was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who spent his career in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. Biography Oriano Quilici was born on 29 November 1929 in the San Pietro a Vico quarter of Lucca, Italy. He was ordained a priest on 8 December 1954. His academic credentials included a diploma in theology and philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical Lateran University. He completed the course of study at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in preparation for a diplomatic career in 1957 and entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See on 1 August 1959. His early postings included Costa Rica, Chile, the Philippines, Yugoslavia, New Zealand and Oceania, and South Korea, as well as a stint in Vienna from 1970 to 1975, where beginning in 1971 he was the Holy See's Permanent Observer to two international bodies: the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Unite ... Jean-Bédel Bokassa
Jean-Bédel Bokassa (; 22 February 1921 – 3 November 1996), also known as Bokassa I, was a Central African political and military leader who served as the second president of the Central African Republic (CAR) and as the emperor of its successor state, the Central African Empire (CAE), from the Saint-Sylvestre coup d'état on 1 January 1966 until his overthrow in a subsequent coup in 1979. Of this period, Bokassa served about eleven years as president and three years as self-proclaimed Emperor of Central Africa, though the country was still a ''de facto'' military dictatorship. His imperial regime lasted from 4 December 1976 to 21 September 1979. Following his overthrow, the CAR was restored under his predecessor, David Dacko. The Inselspital, also named the University Hospital of Bern (German: ''Universitätsspital Bern''), located in Bern, is one of the five university hospitals of Switzerland. It is associated with the University of Bern. The hospital is operated by a charitable foundation established in 1354 through the will of Anna Seiler, a wealthy Bernese. It acquired its current name in 1531 when it occupied the buildings of the "St. Michaels Insel" convent. From 1841 on, it has participated in the training of medical students. The hospital moved to its present location in 1885. Many of the historic buildings were demolished from 1958 to 1978 and replaced by modern infrastructure, including a high-rise patient building.
