Oresharski Government
The Oresharski Government was the eighty-ninth cabinet of Bulgaria which took office on 29 May 2013. The government, led by Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, is one of technocrats created following the 2013 election. The cabinet was dissolved on 6 August 2014 to make way for a caretaker government that would lead Bulgaria through early elections in October of the same year. Formation After President Rosen Plevneliev invited the Bulgarian Socialist Party to form a government, the BSP nominated Plamen Oresharski to head the government and was joined by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. The Council of Ministers was approved by the 120 members of the BSP and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, while GERB's 97 MPs voted against the government and Ataka's 23 MPs were absent from the session. Plamen Oresharski
Plamen Vasilev Oresharski ( bg, Пламен Василев Орешарски ; born 21 February 1960) is a Bulgarian politician who served as Prime Minister of Bulgaria from 2013 to 2014. Previously Oresharski was Minister of Finance from 2005 to 2009 in the Cabinet of the Triple Coalition with Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev. Early life and education Oresharski was born on 21 February 1960 in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria. In addition to his native Bulgarian, he speaks English and Russian. In 1985, Oresharski graduated from the University of National and World Economy. Between 1988 and 1992, Oresharski completed a dissertation on the topic of "Investments and Investment Analysis", earning the equivalent of a doctoral degree. The Ministry of Defence ( bg, Министерство на отбраната, ''Ministerstvo na otbranata'') of Bulgaria is the ministry charged with regulating the Bulgarian Armed Forces. Aneliya Dimitrova Klisarova (born 13 December 1961) is a Bulgarian medical scientist and professor. In addition to her career as an academic and as doctor, she has also been elected for various political posts. Biography Klisarova graduated from the Medical University of Varna first as a Master Physician, and later as a specialist in radiology and nuclear medicine.
