''Ore Raththam'' () is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Sornam and written by M. Karunanidhi. The film stars Karthik, Bhagyalakshmi, Madhuri, Kishmu, Manorama, Pandian, Seetha, M. K. Stalin and Radha Ravi. It is based on Karunanidhi's novel of the same name, which was serialised in the magazine '' Kungumam''. The film was released on 8 May 1987. Karthik (actor)
Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman (born 13 September 1960), better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He is the son of veteran actor R. Muthuraman. In the 1980s and 90s, Karthik was one of the biggest stars in the industry. He was first introduced by Bharathiraja in the Tamil film ''Alaigal Oivathillai'' (1981) and became a lead actor in Tamil films by his own. ''Ananda Vikatan'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. History and profile ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication. The issue for December 1927 was not published due to financial difficulties. Pandiyan (5 January 1959 – 10 January 2008) was an Indian actor and politician who acted in lead roles in about 75 Tamil films from 1983 to 1992 and supporting roles from 1993 to 2001.
