The Order of the Loyalty of Sultan Ismail (''Darjah Setia Sultan Ismail Johor Yang Amat di-Berkati'') is a knighthood order of the sultanate of Johor. History The Order has been founded in 1975. Sultan Of Johor
The Sultan of Johor is a hereditary seat and the sovereign ruler of the Malaysian state of Johor. In the past, the sultan held absolute power over the state and was advised by a ''bendahara''. Currently, the role of ''bendahara'' has been taken over by first minister (Malay: ''Menteri Besar'') with the constitutional monarchy system via Johor State Constitution. The Sultan is the constitutional head of state of Johor. The Sultan has his own independent military force, the Royal Johor Military Force (Malay: ''Askar Timbalan Setia Negeri Johor''). Tun Hussein bin Dato' Onn ( ms, حسين بن عون, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; 12 February 1922 – 29 May 1990) was a Malaysian lawyer and politician who served as the 3rd Prime Minister of Malaysia from the death of his predecessor Abdul Razak Hussein in January 1976 to his retirement in July 1981. Teh Hong Piow (; 14 March 1930 – 12 December 2022) was a Malaysian banker and businessman. He was the founder, chairman, director, and adviser to the Public Bank Berhad in Malaysia. Teh was one of three individuals in the country who were permitted to hold a stake of more than 10% in a domestic financial institution. Biography Teh was born in Singapore on 14 March 1930. He attended his formal primary and secondary education at the Anglo-Chinese School in Singapore. He has been married to Puan Sri Tay Sock Noy since 1956 and they have four children – three daughters and a son. On 12 December 2022, Teh died at the age of 92. Tun Syed Nasir bin Syed Ismail ( ar, سيد ناصر بن سيد إسماعيل '; 7 March 1921– 16 March 1982) was a Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the Parliament of Malaysia. During his lifetime, he was known as a nationalist who sought to fight for the primacy of the national language in Malaysia as a means to create a national identity through the closing down of public-funded Mandarin and Tamil vernacular schools. Tun Sulaiman bin Ninam Shah (2 January 1920 – 5 July 2003) was a Malaysian businessman and veteran politician. He was also former member of Johore State Council for Muar Coastal (1954–1959) and Johor State Legislative Assembly for Parit Jawa (1959-1964), former Senator (1979-1985) and the 6th Deputy President of the Dewan Negara (1982-1985).
