Order Of The Crown Of Selangor
The Most Illustrious Order of the Crown of Selangor (Bahasa Melayu: ''Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Selangor Yang Amat Mulia'') is an order awarded by Sultan of Selangor as a reward for general services to the sultan and state of Selangor. It was founded in 1961. The order is awarded to the relatives of the Sultan of Selangor as well as high-ranking individuals who have contributed excellence to the Sultan of Selangor and the Sultan's Government. The Sultan also has the right to bestow this Degree of Excellence to anyone whom he deems fit and appropriate to receive it. Omar Ong Yoke Lin
Tun Omar Ong Yoke Lin ( zh, 翁毓麟; 23 July 1917 – 1 July 2010) was a Malaysian politician, diplomat and businessman. He was a founding member of the Malaysian Chinese Association, and was a key figure in the country's road to independence. Ong served various positions in the government of Malaya and Malaysia, as a Cabinet minister and ambassador. He was a Chinese Muslim convert. Early life and education Ong Yoke Lin was born on 23 July 1917 in Kuala Lumpur, he attended Pudu Girls' English School and later Victoria Institution, where he was contemporaries of, among others, Yahya Abdul Razak, Lee Siew Choh, Yaacob Latiff and Mahmood Ambak, the father-in-law of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia. Ruby Lee (Malaysian)
Datuk Ruby Lee was the former secretary general for the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, serving the post for 32 years from 1965 to 1996. She joined the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in 1953, and was one of the longest-serving secretary generals for a humanitarian organisation in the world. Jawi (; ace, Jawoë; Kelantan-Pattani: ''Yawi''; ) is a writing system used for writing several languages of Southeast Asia, such as Acehnese, Banjarese, Kerinci, Maguindanaon, Malay, Minangkabau, Tausūg, and Ternate.
