The Orange Movement (''Movimento Arancione'', MA) was a political party in Italy. It was launched on 12 December 2012 by Luigi de Magistris, mayor of Naples and until then member of Italy of Values (IdV). Luigi de Magistris (born 20 June 1967) is an Italian politician and a former prosecutor. He has been mayor of Naples from 2011 to 2021, and a member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2011. Antonio Ingroia
Antonio Ingroia (born 31 March 1959) is an Italian lawyer, ex magistrate, politician and leader of Civil Revolution, with Luigi de Magistris, the mayor of Naples. Ingroia is also the director of a United Nations investigation against narcotraffic in Guatemala. He is also a writer and contributes regular columns to the daily newspaper ''Il Fatto Quotidiano''. Biography Antonio Ingroia was born in Palermo, the capital city of Sicily, Italy. In 1987 Ingroia started to cooperate in the Antimafia pool of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, two Italian magistrates who were killed in 1992 by the Mafia. The Communist Refoundation Party ( it, Partito della Rifondazione Comunista, PRC) is a communist political party in Italy that emerged from a split of the Italian Communist Party (PCI) in 1991. The party's secretary is Maurizio Acerbo, who replaced Paolo Ferrero in 2017. Armando Cossutta was the party's founder, while Fausto Bertinotti its longest-serving leader (1994–2008). The latter transformed the PRC from a traditional communist party into a collection of radical social movements.
