''Opus'' is the eighth studio album of the music project Schiller created by the German electronic musician Christopher Von Deylen. The album was announced on and was released on . On this album Schiller has collaborated with Russian operatic soprano Anna Netrebko, French pianist Hélène Grimaud and German classical oboist Albrecht Mayer. Opus is the first release of the new label "Panorama" by Deutsche Grammophon. The album reached in its first week number 1 of the German albums chart and number 6 in Switzerland and number 10 in Austria. These are the highest entries of Schiller in Austria and Switzerland and the fourth number-1-album of Schiller in Germany. Schiller has received a Gold award in Germany in December 2013 for 100.000 sold albums of Opus. In 2014 a reedition of the album was released: ''Opus - White Album''. Schiller (band)
Schiller () is a German electronic music band that rose to fame in 1998 and is named after the German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller. Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen () and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member. Schiller won the ECHO award in 2002 for the Best Dance Single of the Year with "Dream of You". Schiller has sold over 7 million albums worldwide. Christopher von Deylen does not provide any vocals for Schiller productions himself. ''Peer Gynt'', Op. 23, is the incidental music to Henrik Ibsen's 1867 play of the same name, written by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg in 1875. It premiered along with the play on 24 February 1876 in Christiania (now Oslo). Grieg later created two suites from his ''Peer Gynt'' music. Some of the music from these suites has received coverage in popular culture; see Grieg's music in popular culture. ''Swan Lake'' ( rus, Лебеди́ное о́зеро, r=Lebedínoye ózero, p=lʲɪbʲɪˈdʲinəjə ˈozʲɪrə, link=no ), Op. 20, is a ballet composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. Time for Dreams is the second single from the 2008 Schiller platinum album Sehnsucht featuring Chinese pianist Lang Lang. The single was officially released on 8 August 2008 and was peaking at number 19 on German Singles Chart in 2008. The single includes also the new song "Moonflower" and a live version of the song Wunschtraum. A limited edition of the single included an autograph of Christopher von Deylen. The cover art work shows a photo of both artists. The music video was shot in Berlin. Time for Dreams was released on the re-release of the album Sehnsucht and is also a track on the live album Sehnsucht Live. The song became also part of the Lang Lang album "Dreams of China".
