Opole (parliamentary Constituency)
Opole is a Polish List of Polish parliamentary districts, parliamentary constituency that is coterminous with the Opole Voivodeship. It elects thirteen members of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Sejm and three members of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Senate. The district has the number '21' for elections to the Sejm and '20' for elections to the Senate, and is named after the city of Opole. The Sejm (English: , Polish: ), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Polish language, Polish: ''Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej''), is the lower house of the bicameralism, bicameral parliament of Poland. Strzelce County
__NOTOC__ Strzelce County ( pl, powiat strzelecki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Strzelce Opolskie, which lies south-east of the regional capital Opole. The county contains four other towns: Zawadzkie, north-east of Strzelce Opolskie, Kolonowskie, north-east of Strzelce Opolskie, Leśnica, south-west of Strzelce Opolskie, and Ujazd, south-east of Strzelce Opolskie. Polish People's Party
The Polish People's Party ( pl, Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe, PSL) is an agrarian political party in Poland. It is currently led by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Its history traces back to 1895, when it held the name People's Party, although its name was changed to the present one in 1903. During the Second Polish Republic, the Polish People's Party was represented by a number of parties that held its name. Paweł Piotr Kukiz (born 24 June 1963) is a Polish politician, singer and actor. He is the leader of Kukiz'15, a non-partisan political alliance campaigning for single-member districts, and was a candidate in the 2015 presidential election, in which he received 21% of the votes in the first round of the elections, finishing third. Civic Coalition (Poland)
The Civic Coalition ( pl, Koalicja Obywatelska, KO)) is a catch-all political alliance in Poland. The alliance was formed around Civic Platform in opposition to the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party. The coalition's name uses a play on words with ''Ja Obywatel'', which translates to "I, Citizen". History The Civic Coalition was originally created by the Civic Platform and Modern parties for 2018 local elections. The German Minority Electoral Committee ( pl, Komitet Wyborczy Mniejszość Niemiecka, german: Wahlkomitee der Deutschen Minderheit) is an electoral committee in Poland, that represents the German minority. Ryszard Jerzy Galla (born 22 July 1956 in Wrocław) is a Polish politician of German heritage. Law and Justice ( pl, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość , PiS) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Poland. Its chairman is Jarosław Kaczyński. It was founded in 2001 by Jarosław and Lech Kaczyński as a direct successor of the Centre Agreement after it split from the Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS).
