''In for Treatment'' ( nl, Opname) is a 1979 Dutch drama film directed by Marja Kok and Erik van Zuylen. It was created by members of the Dutch theater group after two theater productions on the same theme of facing the prospect of death following a diagnosis remained in demand after hundreds of performances. The story is based on the experiences of the father of the lead actor Joop Admiraal. The film was selected as the Dutch entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 53rd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. It won the Bronze Leopard and Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the Locarno International Film Festival in 1980.Locarno International Film Festival 1980

The Prize of the Ecumenical Jury (french: Prix du Jury Œcuménique) is an independent film award for feature length films shown at major international film festivals since 1973. The award was created by Christian film makers, film critics and other film professionals. The objective of the award is to "honour works of artistic quality which witnesses to the power of film to reveal the mysterious depths of human beings through what concerns them, their hurts and failings as well as their hopes." The ecumenical jury can be composed out of 8, 6, 5, 4 or 3 members, who are nominated by SIGNIS for the Catholics and Interfilm for the Protestants. This is a list of submissions to the 53rd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film was created in 1956 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honour non-English-speaking films produced outside the United States. The award is handed out annually, and is accepted by the winning film's director, although it is considered an award for the submitting country as a whole. Countries are invited by the Academy to submit their best films for competition according to strict rules, with only one film being accepted from each country. For the 53rd Academy Awards, twenty-six films were submitted in the category Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Cameroon, Colombia, Iceland and Portugal all submitted films for the first time. Iceland has submitted a film every year since then, while Cameroon did not submit again until 2017. Olga Zuiderhoek
Olga Zuiderhoek (born September 16, 1946 in Assen) is a Dutch actress. She graduated in 1970 from the Amsterdam Theater School. After having been associated with the cooperative association Het Werkteater for many years, she worked for the theater companies De Mexican Hond and Orkater and played mainly in new plays by homegrown, sometimes written for her. Theater Zuiderhoek was a member of the innovative theater group Het Werkteater from 1974 to 1982. After that she played with theater group Orkater in the plays '' Parking '' (1987) and '' Een goed hoofd '' (1991) and further with De Mexican Hond in the play '' Kaatje drowned '' (1993).
