Georges Lautner
Georges Lautner (; 24 January 1926 – 22 November 2013) was a French film director and screenwriter, known primarily for his comedies created in collaboration with screenwriter Michel Audiard. Lautner's ventures into other genres were less successful though the thriller Le Professionnel starring Jean-Paul Belmondo was a big commercial hit in France in 1981. He was born in Nice, the son of actress Renée Saint-Cyr. Henri Cogan (13 September 1914 in Paris – 23 September 2003 in Boulogne-Billancourt) was a French actor and stuntman. Biography Before Henri Cogan became a fight choreographer for European action films he proved his expertise in hand-to-hand combat publicly by fighting as a professional wrestler. Gaia Germani (30 August 1934 - 20 February 2019) was an Italian film and television actress. Biography Born in Rome as Giovanna Giardina, she made her film debut in a French film, Georges Lautner's '' En plein cirage'' and later starred both in Italian and in French productions, working with Sergio Sollima, Bernard Borderie, Marco Ferreri, and Lucio Fulci. She became popular for starring in the Carosello of Amaro Cora. From the early 1970s she focused on TV-series, and in 1975 she retired from showbusiness. She died in Rome in 2019. Pierre Barouh (born Élie Pierre Barouh; 19 February 1934 – 28 December 2016) was a French writer-composer-singer best known for his work on Claude Lelouch's film ''A Man and a Woman'' as an actor and the lyricist/singer for Francis Lai's music score. Early life and music Barouh was born in Paris and along with his brother, Albert, and sister, was raised in Levallois-Perret. Their parents were Turkish-Jewish stallholders selling fabrics. During the Second World War, their parents hid them from the Nazis; Pierre and his sister in Montournais and Albert in la Limouzinière. During these years Élie, baptised Pierre, lived at La Grèlerie, the home of Hilaire and Marie Rocher, who had two sons.
