One Woman's Insanity
''One Woman's Insanity'' is the second album by dance singer-songwriter Ultra Naté. The record, which incorporated R&B influences as well as Naté's signature House music, was released on October 5, 1993, by Warner Bros. Records. The lead single, "Show Me", was a dance club hit, becoming Naté's first number-one on the US dance charts and also entering the singles charts in the United States and the United Kingdom. Follow-up singles "Joy" and "How Long" also became top-five hits on the dance charts. Upon its release, the album received a mixed critical reception. However, it has received favorable recognition in retrospect, with some critics regarding it as a highlight of her discography. Ultra Naté Wyche (born March 20, 1968) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, DJ and promoter who has achieved success on the pop charts with songs such as " Free", "If You Could Read My Mind" (as part of Stars on 54), and "Automatic". Virtually all of her singles have reached the Top 10 of the US Hot Dance Club Play chart. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. The 50-position weekly ranking joined ''Billboard''s established Club Songs chart, reduced to the same 50 positions, both under the title Hot Dance/Disco.
