''One Voice'' is the debut studio album by American country music singer Billy Gilman. The album was released on June 20, 2000, by Epic Records Nashville. It reached number two on the '' Billboard'' Top Country Albums chart, and was certified 2× Platinum by RIAA. The highest-charting single from the album was its title track, which reached 20 on Hot Country Songs and 38 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. It made Gilman the youngest male artist in history (at 12 years old) to have a solo top 40 hit on the country charts. Billy Gilman
William Wendell Gilman III (born May 24, 1988) is an American singer. Starting as a young country artist, he is known for his debut single " One Voice", a top 40 hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and a top 20 hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart in 2000. He has released five albums, including three for Epic Nashville. In 2016, Gilman auditioned for season 11 of the US edition of ''The Voice'' and competed as part of Team Adam Levine, finishing as runner-up for the season. Robert Charles Goldsboro (born January 18, 1941) is an American pop and country singer and songwriter. He had a string of pop and country hits in the 1960s and 1970s, including his signature No. 1 hit "Honey", which sold over 1 million copies in the United States, and the UK top-10 single "Summer (The First Time)". George Richey (born George Baker Richardson; November 30, 1935 – July 31, 2010) was an American songwriter and record producer. He was born in Arkansas, but raised in Malden, Missouri. Career Richey was a mainstay of the Nashville country music community since the 1960s through his songwriting and record production. Gary Baker (born August 8, 1952, in Niagara Falls, New York) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Career In the late 1970s, Baker was a musician with the LeBlanc and Carr Band. Baker was also a singer musician with the country-pop band, The Shooters. He has written songs for John Michael Montgomery, Alabama and others. Baker has been writing with his songwriting partner, Frank J. Myers since 1988, both having played in Marie Osmond's band. Baker and Myers' most successful song as songwriters is "I Swear", recorded by both All 4-One and John Michael Montgomery.
