''One Touch'' is the debut studio album by British girl group Sugababes. It was released by London Records in the UK on 27 November 2000, and the following month in most other European territories. The trio worked with producer Cameron McVey on the majority of the album, which produced four singles; " Overload", "New Year", " Run for Cover", and "Soul Sound". Despite initially peaking at number 26 on the UK Albums Chart and being certified Gold by the BPI, and faring even better in German-speaking Europe, where it reached the top ten in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, the sales of ''One Touch'' did not meet the record company's expectations, and the group were eventually dropped in Autumn 2001, making it their only release with the label. "One Touch" is a song by English female pop duo Mini Viva, written and produced by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania. The song was released as Mini Viva's third and final single on 9 May 2010. Remixes from Wideboys, Christian TV and Tom Neville were also commissioned. The single failed to make the UK top 100. Background The duo premiered the song at the Jazz Café in Camden Town on 9 February 2010, then known as "Do You Want a Candy?". It was released first on May 17, 2010, jointly through DFA and Virgin Records in the United States and Parlophone elsewhere. They had originally intended to release the project in the Spring, however the global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and imposing of lockdown resulted in a temporary delay of promotion. In association football, one-touch football is passing or shooting the ball with ''one touch'' rather than trapping or dribbling the ball first. Often an effective tactic for quick shots from passes or crosses, "flick" passes or for "give and go" passes.
