One Kiss From Heaven
"One Kiss from Heaven" is the fifth and final single released from English singer Louise's debut album, ''Naked'' (1996). Released on 18 November 1996, it reached number nine on the UK Singles Chart the same month. Critical reception Jon O'Brien from AllMusic noted "the sultry chill-out pop" of "One Kiss from Heaven". A reviewer from ''Music Week'' rated the song three out of five, stating that her "impressive solo track record will no doubt continue with this fifth single from ''Naked''. It is her most sophisticated offering yet, but lacks the simple charm of its predecessors." In his album review, Mark Sutherland from ''NME'' described it as a "soppy smoocher". Louise Redknapp
Louise Elizabeth Redknapp (née Nurding, born 4 November 1974) is an English singer, songwriter and media personality. She was a member of Eternal, an R&B girl group which debuted in 1993 with their quadruple-platinum studio album '' Always & Forever''. In 1995, she departed from the group for a solo career, in which she released the albums ''Naked'' (1996), '' Woman in Me'' (1997) and ''Elbow Beach'' (2000). Aside from music, Louise has presented several television shows and was a judge on the UK version of ''So You Think You Can Dance''. ''Naked'' is the debut solo album by English singer Louise. Released in July 1996, it peaked at number seven on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 300,000 copies in the UK alone, being certified platinum. Background After leaving Eternal, Louise signed a solo record deal with First Avenue Management. She was still under contract to EMI Records at that time, and in October 1995 she released her debut solo single, " Light of My Life", which peaked at No. 8. Six months later, Louise's second single "In Walked Love" (previously a hit for American dance-pop group Exposé), peaked at No. 17. However, her third single, "Naked", was a bigger hit, peaking at No. 5 in the UK. The album ''Naked'' was released shortly afterwards.
