''Blue Moves'' is the eleventh studio album by English musician Elton John. It was released in October 1976. It was John's second double album (after ''Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'') and the first to be released by his own label, Rocket Records Ltd. The album reached number 3 in the US charts, ending a long streak of chart-topping albums for John that began with ''Honky Château'' in 1972. Background Having completed what he described as a "gruelling American tour", John gave only a handful of performances at the time of release, and later announced (during a charity concert at Wembley Arena the following year), "I haven't been touring for a long time. The Johner Brothers
The Johner Brothers were a Canadian country music duo from Midale. They won more than 40 awards from the Saskatchewan Country Music Association, including Entertainer of the Decade in 1999. History Brothers Ken Johner and Brad Johner grew up in Saskatchewan playing music in their family band. In 1988, they teamed up together to form The Johner Brothers. In 2000 the pair took home a Prairie Music Award for their video and production skills. The duo signed with Warner Music Canada and released their first album, ''Some Kind of Magic'', in 1991. Jim Henry (musician)
Jim Henry is an American folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He started out as a member of the Sundogs, a New England "swamp- boogie-swing" band, in the late 1980s. In 1993, he released his first solo album, ''Into the Blue''. He has toured with Mark Erelli, Deb Talan, and The Burns Sisters, and has added instrumental parts to hundreds of albums. He toured for many years with Tracy Grammer and his accompaniment has appeared on both her solo albums. The two met for the first time at their first gig, unrehearsed. He is also a music producer and sound engineer. One Horse Town, California
Horsetown was a major historical mining town on the Clear Creek (Sacramento River tributary), Clear Creek in Reading, California in Shasta County, California, Shasta County. The town was founded as a tent mining town in 1851 after Major Pierson Barton Reading found gold just east of where the town was founded. Reading's gold find site is called Reading's Bar after the sandbar on Clear Creek. The small mining town was first called Clear Creek Diggings in 1851, it was founded on Clear Creek Road and Clear Creek. As the town grew it was given the name One Horse Town and then it was changed to Horsetown. The gold found here starting a California Gold Rush in the surrounding area.
