''One Glorious Night'' is a 1924 American silent drama film directed by Scott R. Plot As described in a film magazine review, Mary Stevens jilts Kenneth McLane and marries Chester James, a wealthy clubman. His mother lives with them and governs them as she controls the finances. She forbids Mary to have any children. After leaving the house with Mary, Chester returns to his home and deserts Mary. Mary has a child, which is adopted by Kenneth who has become wealthy. Albert Edward Coxen (8 August 1880 – 21 November 1954) was an English-born American actor. He appeared in over 200 films during his career. Personal life Coxen was born in London, England. He came to the United States as a child and lived much of his life in San Francisco. On 31 March 1884 whilst settled in San Francisco, Sarah Coxen gave birth to Ed Coxen's only sibling, a sister, Rosa A Coxen. On 14 October 1914, at the age of 33, he married Edith Victoria Borella in Los Angeles, a 24-year-old film actress born in Switzerland of Swiss parents. Borella, who also used the screen names of Eda, Ada and Aida, had played minor parts alongside Coxen in films such as ''Restitution'', where Winifred Greenwood played his love interest. Mathilde Brundage (September 22, 1859 – May 6, 1939) was an American actress. She appeared in 87 films between 1914 and 1928. Also known as Bertha Brundage, she was born in Louisville, Kentucky. For much of her life, her family thwarted her desire to act on stage. Brundage's film debut came in ''The Crucible'' (1914); her last film was ''That's My Daddy'' (1928).
