One Fine Day (Chris Rea Album)
''One Fine Day'' is the twenty-fifth studio album by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, which was given a limited release on 18 October 2019 by Rhino Entertainment on CD and on vinyl. It is available in a hi-res digital format for streaming and download, and was subsequently included on disc 2 of ''Era 1: 1978–1984'' (2020), a 3 CD compilation of singles, B-sides and rarities. Background Rea announced that the album would be limited to 1000 copies. ''One Fine Day'' was originally recorded in 1980 at Chipping Norton Recording Studios and was produced by Rea himself. The compositions have never officially been released as a single work, so the present album unites this collection of nine songs for the first time. Some of the tracks have never been released, while other re-recorded versions have appeared on various albums and as B-sides on singles. Rea himself created the album cover a few years previously. Alan Murphy
Alan Murphy (18 November 1953 – 19 October 1989) was a British rock session guitarist, best remembered for his collaborations with Kate Bush and Go West. In 1988, he joined the jazz-funk band Level 42 as a full-time band member, and played with them until his death from pneumonia, resulting from AIDS, in 1989. He also played lead guitar on select recordings by Mike and the Mechanics, including the hit single "Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)". Mac and Katie Kissoon are a pop soul duo, consisting of brother and sister Mac Kissoon (born Gerald Farthing, November 11, 1943, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago) and Katie Kissoon (born Katherine Farthing, March 11, 1951, Port of Spain). Early life and career Mac and Katie Kissoon emigrated to the United Kingdom with their family in 1962. Carol Kenyon
Carol Kenyon (sometimes spelt Karol; born 1959) is a British singer. She is best known for her vocals on the Heaven 17 hit song "Temptation", which reached number two in the UK Singles Chart in 1983. When the song was re-released as a remix by Brothers in Rhythm in 1992, again featuring Carol's vocals, it made number 4. Burleigh Drummond (born September 25, 1951) is an American drummer, percussionist, producer, songwriter, and singer. He is a founding member and the only drummer/percussionist for the five-time Grammy Award nominated band Ambrosia. He currently performs onstage in the band with his fellow member and wife Mary Harris, and the couple are also both active members of Bill Champlin’s Wunderground and their own band ‘Tin Drum’. David Maxwell Middleton (born 4 August 1946) is an English composer and keyboardist who was originally a docker on the London docks. Middleton is known for his work on the Fender Rhodes Electric piano, the Minimoog synthesiser and his percussive playing style of the Hohner Clavinet.
