"One Day" is a song by Filipino pop and R&B recording artist Charice, now known as Jake Zyrus. The song was co-written and co-produced by American recording artist Nick Jonas. The song was released for digital download on April 19, 2011. Background The following day after the release of "Before It Explodes", a follow-up announcement was made by Zyrus. To promote the song's release, an online competition was launched by Acuvue Contact Lenses. The winners of the contest were given a chance to appear in the music video for the song. The song was used as a part of Acuvue's "ACUVUE 1•DAY Contest". Music video The music video for the song was filmed in Los Angeles on June 17. Acuvue (from "Accurate view") is a brand of disposable contact lenses made in Jacksonville Florida and Limerick-based Vistakon, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson (J&J). Overview Acuvue lenses got their start at Frontier Contact Lens Company, founded in Buffalo, New York in 1959 by Dr. Allen Isen, George Sitterle, and Dr. William Feinbloom. Its early growth was attributed to its highly successful toric lens. In 1962, Seymour Marco joined the venture and Frontier moved its operations to Jacksonville, Florida. ''Infinity'' (stylized as ∞) is the second international studio album and fifth overall release by Filipino pop and R&B singer Jake Zyrus (formerly Charice). The album was released exclusively early in Japan on October 5, 2011 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was credited under the name Charice, Zyrus' name prior to his gender transition. Zyrus launched a seven-city tour across Asia in order to promote the official Asian release of the album in Summer 2012. The tour began on March 2, 2012.
