Lea-Artibai
Lea-Artibai is an ''eskualdea/comarca'' of the province of Biscay (Bizkaia), in the Basque Country, Spain. Lea-Artibai is the heir of the historical ''merindad'' of Markina, which was one of the ''merindades'' of Biscay. Currently, Lea-Artibai is one of the seven ''comarcas'' that compose the province. Its capital city is Markina-Xemein. Geography Lea-Artibai is located at the northeast extreme of the province. It limits with the ''comarcas'' of Busturialdea at west and Durangaldea at south, while the province of Gipuzkoa is at the east. The Bay of Biscay sits on the north. Kepa Arrizabalaga
Kepa Arrizabalaga Revuelta (born 3 October 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Chelsea. He is sometimes referred to simply as Kepa. A Basque native, Arrizabalaga began his senior club career with Athletic Bilbao. He played for Basconia, and joined Ponferradina and Real Valladolid on consecutive loans, between 2011 and 2016. He then returned to Bilbao and became a first-team regular; in 2018, he was the subject of a record association football transfer when he moved to Chelsea in a transfer worth €80 million (£72 million), a record fee for a goalkeeper. Kirmen Uribe
Kirmen Uribe (pronounced ; born October 5, 1970) is a Basque language writer. He won the National Prize for Literature in Spain in 2009 for his first novel ''Bilbao-New York-Bilbao,'' which has been translated into over 15 languages. His poetry collection ''Meanwhile Take My Hand'' (Graywolf, 2007), translated into English by Elizabeth Macklin, was a finalist for the 2008 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation. His works have been published in ''The New Yorker, Open City'' and '' Little Star''. Early life Kirmen Uribe was born in Ondarroa, a fishing town about one hour from Bilbao. Uribe's father (who died in 1999) was a trawlerman and his mother was a homemaker. He studied Basque Philology at the University of the Basque Country–Gasteiz, and did his graduate studies in Comparative Literature in Trento, Italy.
