''On the Edge'' (french: Entre la vie et la mort, links=no) is a Belgian-French-Spanish thriller film directed by which stars Antonio de la Torre, Marine Vacth, and Olivier Gourmet. Plot Leo is a Spaniard working as a metro driver in Brussels. He is witness to the death of an individual who throw himself into the rails, whom Leo identifies with his son Hugo. Leo embarks on a parallel investigation seeking to understand. Cast Production A joint co-production among companies from France, Belgium and Spain, the film was produced by Frakas Productions alongside Noodles Productions, Eyeworks and Fasten Films, with the participation of RTVE, Movistar Plus+ and support from ICEC and Eurimages. Antonio de la Torre Martín (born 18 January 1968) is a Spanish actor. De la Torre is the actor with most nominations overall to the Goya Awards. He won the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor for ''Dark Blue Almost Black'' in 2007, whereas he earned the Goya Award for Best Actor for '' The Realm'' in 2019. He has starred in many films directed by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, with whom he collaborated for the first time in the short film ''Profilaxis'' (2003). ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. The 2nd Carmen Awards were presented by the Andalusian Film Academy on 4 February 2023 at Almerías . Eurimages is a cultural support fund of the Council of Europe, established in 1989. Eurimages promotes independent filmmaking by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation, and documentary films.
