On Point Motorsports is an American professional stock car racing team that fields the No. 30 Toyota Tundra part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Tate Fogleman, Josh Bilicki, Joey Gase, Camden Murphy, Kaden Honeycutt and Chris Hacker. History On July 11, 2018, former JGL Racing crew chief Steven Lane and a group of investors formed the team. The team announced that they would attempt to make their debut on August 16 at Bristol. Xfinity Series With the formation of their team on July 11, 2018, they announced plans to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series “soon”, although these plans never came to fruition and the team has not attempted to run in the Xfinity Series since then and in addition to that their stock of NXS chassis were sold off to MBM Motorsports in 2019. Steven D. Lane is an American NASCAR crew chief, team owner and an American professional stock car racing driver. He is employed at his own team of On Point Motorsports as the crew chief for Tate Fogleman in the No. 30 Toyota Tundra. He has crew chiefed in NASCAR since 2000, and has been an owner in NASCAR since 2018. JGL Racing was an American professional stock car racing team that last competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The team was based in Denver, North Carolina. Martinsville Speedway
Martinsville Speedway is a NASCAR-owned stock car racing short track in Ridgeway, Virginia, just south of Martinsville. At in length, it is the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series. The track was also one of the first paved oval tracks in stock car racing, being built in 1947 by partners H. Clay Earles, Henry Lawrence, and Sam Rice, nearly a year before NASCAR was officially formed. It is also the only race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit from its beginning in 1948.
