"On My Own" is a song recorded by Canadian rock group Hedley. It was released on July 18, 2005 as the lead single from their debut album '' Hedley''. It reached number one on the Canadian Singles Chart. The video for "On My Own" reached number one on the MuchMusic countdown for the week of December 2, 2005. It was also the only single released in the United States from that album. "On My Own" is also featured on the US version of ''Famous Last Words'', which is called ''Never Too Late''. Hedley (band)
Hedley was a Canadian pop rock group that originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia, originally formed in 2003. They were named after the unincorporated community of Hedley, British Columbia, a name chosen after members heard that it was for sale for $346,000. After lead singer Jacob Hoggard placed third on the second season of '' Canadian Idol'' in 2004, the group signed with Universal Music Canada and released their self-titled debut studio album the following year. After signing an international recording contract with Capitol Records in 2006, which brought them an increased American following. ''Thrillville'' is a simulation and strategy video game developed by Frontier Developments that depicts theme park management, similar to '' RollerCoaster Tycoon''.
