''On Down the Road'' is the fifth studio album by former Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin, released on August 21, 2002. It was recorded at Rumbo Recorders in Los Angeles and produced by Stradlin. Reception Greg Prato of AllMusic described ''On down the Road'' as an album which "certainly won't get any awards for the most original-sounding or stylistically groundbreaking rock release of 2002". But it "accomplishes its goal" by "creating familiar vintage rock sounds". Bernard Alfred "Jack" Nitzsche ( '; April 22, 1937 – August 25, 2000) was an American musician, arranger, songwriter, composer, and record producer. He first came to prominence in the early 1960s as the right-hand-man of producer Phil Spector and went on to work with the Rolling Stones and Neil Young, among others. He also worked extensively in film scores, notably for films such as ''Performance'', ''The Exorcist'' and '' One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest''. Ian Patrick McLagan (; 12 May 1945 – 3 December 2014) was an English keyboardist, best known as a member of the rock bands Small Faces and Faces. He also collaborated with the Rolling Stones and led his own band from the late 1970s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Duff McKagan
Michael Andrew "Duff" McKagan (born February 5, 1964), sometimes credited as Duff "Rose" McKagan, is an American musician. He played bass for twelve years in the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. ''Like a Dog'' is the sixth studio album by former Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin, released independently in October 2005. Background The tracks were recorded at Nomad Recording Studios, Carrollton, Texas in April and May 2003, but the album was not released at that time.
