On Athletics Club
On Athletics Club (OAC) is a training group of professional Distance running, distance runners sponsored by On (company), On. The team is coached by Dathan Ritzenhein and was founded in August 2020 with eight original members. OAC trains primarily out of Boulder, Colorado. On also sponsors sister clubs "OAC Europe" coached by Thomas Dreissigacker and "OAC Oceania" coached by Craig Mottram. In July 2023, Kelsey Quinn was announced as assistant coach for the team. Non-Championship Notable Accomplishments Colorado sub four minute mile On August 3, 2020, Joe Klecker and Olli Hoare became the first people to ever break four-minute mile, 4 minutes in the mile on Colorado soil. Mario García Romo (born 29 June 1999) is a Spanish middle-distance runner, who specializes in the 1500 metres. He was the national champion in the event in 2022, and he represented Spain in the 1500 m at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, finishing fourth and sixth. García competed collegiately for the University of Mississippi, where he won a national title in the mile at the 2022 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. Washington Avenue Armory
The Washington Avenue Armory, officially known as the Washington Avenue Armory Sports and Convention Arena and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Washington Avenue (Tenth Battalion) Armory, is now a multi-purpose arena on the corner of Washington Avenue and Lark Street in downtown Albany, New York. The Armory has a capacity of 4,300 for concerts and conventions and 3,600 for sports events. History The Armory was built in 1890 for the Tenth Battalion of the New York National Guard, designed by state architect Isaac Perry. Boston University Track And Tennis Center
The Boston University Track and Tennis Center houses a banked, 6 lane, 200m indoor track. On January 28, 2013, Olympic Medalist Galen Rupp ran a facility record of 3.50.92 in the mile. On February 9, 2018, Edward Cheserek improved that to 3:49.44, the #2 mark in history at the time. On March 3, 2019, Yomif Kejelcha of Ethiopia improved that to a new world indoor record of 3:47.01. Also during that same race, American Johnny Gregorek Jr. ran a 3:49.98, becoming the second American to break 3:50 in the mile, also marking the first time indoors that two people ran under 3:50 in the same race. Leah Falland (; born 30 August 1992) is an American steeplechase runner and NCAA DI indoor track and field championships record holder in the mile run. Biography O'Connor was raised in Croswell, Michigan where she first learned to run on her family farm. She attended Croswell-Lexington High School and was state champion in the 800 m and 1600 m. She competed collegiately for the Michigan State Spartans track and field and cross country teams starting in 2011, and qualified for the NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships every year from 2012 to 2015. Alicja Konieczek (born 2 November 1994) is a Polish Olympic runner specializing in the 3000 meters steeplechase. In 2020 she joined On Athletics Club sponsored by Swiss company On. She won the gold medal at the 2019 Summer Universiade and the Super League European Team Championships in Chorzow.
