Robert Grant (born October 17, 1978), better known as O'Mega Red, is an American rapper, CEO and record producer of The Stay Grindin Music Group and an occasional actor. He is the nephew of singer and songwriter Donna Summer. Early life O'Mega Red was born Robert Grant in Boston, Massachusetts, a native of Dorchester and St. Matthews Parish.He is African American. He attended John F. Kennedy Middle School in Randolph, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Blue Hills Technical High School. Otis Redding
Otis Ray Redding Jr. (September 9, 1941 – December 10, 1967) was an American singer and songwriter. He is considered one of the greatest singers in the history of American popular music and a seminal artist in soul music and rhythm and blues. Nicknamed the " King of Soul", Redding's style of singing gained inspiration from the gospel music that preceded the genre. His singing style influenced many other soul artists of the 1960s. Redding was born in Dawson, Georgia, and at age two, moved to Macon. Johnnie Harrison Taylor (May 5, 1934 – May 31, 2000) was an American recording artist and songwriter who performed a wide variety of genres, from blues, rhythm and blues, soul, and gospel to pop, doo-wop, and disco.
